Given the sabotage of my efforts to go further with podcasting AND this forum, should THIS forum continue ?

This forum is fine but I'd rather move everything back to the classic forum.  You'll always have critics, take a lesson from Donald Trump and just verbally punch them back ten times harder.  No apologies. 

Otherwise it starts to become self-sabotage.

In the same direction, that others have mentioned, I think making the thread the same as all the other threads, except keep George as the moderator so he can banish from his thread who he wishes, and edit posts however he likes would be fun, and maybe work. If someone posts something mean to George, George could always edit it to something flattering  lol's.   OR, he could ban them instead if they get to be too much of a bother.

Since the soup kitchen moved in 3 blocks down the street, there are some very weird & whacked out people walking around my neighborhood.
I walked to the post office and to feed Orangey ( while seeing everything as a blur ) and at the building next to us ( which is effectively abandoned ) a woman was standing there.
Here's the conversation we had :

Her : " Hello. "

Me :  " Hello. "

I saw her as only a blurred white shape ( doing something with crushing cans from the noise I was hearing ) and continued slowly walking.

Her ( kind of yelling and behind me ) :

" Watch out for Tracey the transexual ! She's been driving around the neighborhood in her white 1998 Mercedes ! "

WC, you are doing me a disservice. PMS are a way to discuss things that one would not rather have others see. As you apparently run some type of business, would YOU put all YOUR trade secrets and information out in the open for your competitors to see ? I don't think you would if you're any type of good businessman.
And part of selling the shirts, IMHO, is the surprise factor and discussing what will and will not appeal to the public in PRIVATE AND doing it openly in a forum is not how one conducts business.
I've managed businesses and been in business meetings. They were NOT held out on the street for all to see. They were in private meetings among employees and managers and the higher ups.

George.. I agree with all of the above.. But like brig, I don't like to PM or email . To many things can get turned around and/or misunderstood. It's better to hash it out,  in front of the watchful eyes of the Bellgab community..  My motives are simple ..to truly help you.

I wouldn't go that far.  I think a lot of activity on the thread is better than very little.  All publicity is good publicity!

The problem with that is a lot of the watchful eyes on here are both malevolent and sociopathic.
Not the best thing for conducting business.
There is absolutely NO need for the entire Bellgab community to know what's going on every second.
This is NOT how you conduct a mail order business or any business.
I ran a mail order business a long time ago selling film memorabilia.

Just forget the whole thing.
What goes on in my house, should stay in my house; my personal revelations of the past notwithstanding.
I have never liked conducting business affairs out in the open and BUSINESS dealings are quite different than personal affairs.

I didn't CREATE that thread and the dung heap it has become is NOT a legacy by ANY stretch of the imagination.
It's an abomination and were it within my power the entire insult fest that is would be deleted and never be allowed to return from the slime from whence it came.
And the trolls and stalkers on there would be given to Chthulu so he could have his way with them.
