Its pretty obvious the way George and Tommy were talking to Falkie. I think they see him as a kid. Maybe a mentally retarded kid. It is clear the attention they are showing him is out of pity. I wonder when Noory will get tired of it all.

I didn't ASK Noory for it. He gave it to me and said I know both of you had expenses to get here and for last week.
He and Tommy were genuinely sad that we missed each other last week.
And lots of people give people gas money to reimburse them for a long trip to get some where.
I've offered friends gas money when they have come a long way to see me in the past.
It's what you do. Not to help out someone who is poor but to make life easier on your friend or acquantance or relative.
I guess you don't do that. And it seems to me that YOU get pissed off a lot at things that should be done out of the goodness of one's heart.
I could be wrong but that's what it reads to me from the comment above.

If the reverse had been true, I would have given Noory money.
I did have gas money on me.
I thanked him profusely for it.
By the way we saw gas prices all over San Francisco topping $ 4.00 for regular.

That'd be funny if Noory somehow billed all of Falkie's charges to KSCO - like if it was in his rider or something.  I can imagine the station manager going over the line item details as he goes to approve the expenses.  "WTF is this?  Glasses?  Gas money?"  And Noory could just skate on by.  Falkie doesn't know where the money is really coming from, and it doesn't matter, as long as Noory is coming through for him - one way or the other.
