I dealt with flees, the biggest problem with keeping them out of your house is animals bringing them back in. My dog got them bad one year and i gave him baths and reapplied Frontline earlier than i should have and i still could not get rid of them. I dont have carpet in my house but i used flee killing spray anyways and it did nothing. I used to use Frontline flee and tick drops and they worked until we had a drought and flees got so bad that the Frontline would not work. My Vet ended up switching my dog to Trifexis flee and tick pills and once they couldent live on the dog anymore the flee problem ended. I battled the shit for months though it was not fun. Falkie better start grifting up some money to buy all of his cats professional strength products because a bath and a flee collar is not going to do shit.

I bought "flee shampoo" turns out that that stuff is a gimmick nothing in it kills flees they just suffocate from any kind of soapy suds if you leave it on long enough. I never really noticed the flees i might have felt one or 2 jump off me or bite over the months i was trying to get it under control. They were eating my dog alive though i never seen him so miserable and i felt bad for him. If i remember right the vet said that carpet could make them harder to get rid of, i told her i didn't have carpet she said i should still spray the house down with $18 aerosol cans of flee killer so i did. It seemed to put a dent in the problem but then i ran out and they came back so i bought some from walmart for $6 and it didn't seem to work as well.

Trifexis reportedly has killed a lot of dogs and i didn't know this at the time because i trusted my vet. My dog never had a problem taking it though so i keep giving it to him because it works.
