Look, I spent a hot, sweaty hour trying to find 2 men who had already left. I caught Dr. Pearl on his way to do an interview. I had intended to try but with being given the WRONG info as to when Noory was going to be there, I missed Pearl and Noory.
But I figured, I will at least introduce myself to the guy so he is aware of who I am. I did it not for me but for Gerry.
I wouldn't expect a jerk like you to understand nor to cut me any slack as I have never interviewed anyone nor have I tried to on camera before.
There will be other times and other opportunties.

I got an email from Noory that he will be in Santa Cruz this weekend, about a 100 miles away. Patty will want to come and she can drive. Kathy's hands went numb from all the driving. I walked so much my ankles and soles of my feet are sore.
I read the riot  act to Kathy about her selfish behavior in continually complaining about stuff. I told her I had never asked her to take me anywhere IMPORTANT except for doctor's visits and that she gets to go anywhere she wants with Patty all the time and runs all over the place while I sit here bored shitless and I helped her buy not one but 3 cars. I even broke down crying twice and sobbing.
She's not to bitch about it in the future.
None of you can know what a terrible weekend this was.
And for Open Lines Gerry, pearl now knows who I and and there will be other opportunities to see him. I let everything go in here when Mother died & we spent months disposing of her stuff, then I got sick and injured. My new mgr. is one of these gung ho types and she will toss people out for violating the lease. I am not becoming homeless for any interview, sorry.
I WILL meet Noory this weekend if I have to push the Prius to do it.

I'd have to go to Tmobile and see how much it costs to put my Ipad on line. Will call them or go over later this week. Its so hot in here that when I am done, I'm going to escape to the living room for awhile.

Just called T Mobile. I have to go the Apple store and get this new Ipad unlocked. It will be available to use wifi immediately. Will cost me $40 a month.

Don't get roped into using mobile on your iPad if you don't have to. It's just another monthly charge and wifi is ubiquitous.

Also, there are a number of screen recording programs you could use on your macbook to capture a Skype interview.

Screw the yard sales.  Put that stuff on eBay, and then put the links to the listings on BellGab and your other forums.

The collectible stuff is on shelves. I have stuff in boxes to go through and the laundry I didn't finish and the kitchen to do.
If I get rid of the collectibles, I'll never get them again.

Just talked to Kathy. She's on the way over. She's not thrilled about going to Santa Cruz as she gets carsick on the winding 2 lane roads going and coming to down there but she, Patty and I will be going. I have to call the radio station to find out where to go as its still being set up by the station.

More performance art for me?  Please let Kathy know that she had better damn well learn to drive when her hands are numb and she is carsick.  She needs to learn to "man up" and stop complaining about such trivial things such as loosing the feeling in her fingers and tossing her cookies and concentrate on the goal of an interview.  Tell her to keep her eye on the prize.

What about Amtrak? My husband is retired and takes the train to visit friends in Santa Cruz all the time. His trip from sac to san jose is about 3 hrs (probably an hour less from martinez), then amtrak bus over the hill to SC which lets you off downtown about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the boardwalk. It's an easy and relaxing way to get there & says he prefers taking the train to driving.

I would NEVER take ANY advice YOU would EVER give me because you've been such a total bitch towards me.
We drive because we can stop along the way if we see something and if we take Amtrak down there, how are we supposed to get to Noory if he's 10 miles away or something ?
Walk ?
I sure as hell am not going to pay for a cab to go see him.
I'm paying for the gas, the bridge tolls and dinner for the 3 of us.

Falkie, if you run out of time to do the dishes, a great trick is to shove them into your oven.  Out of sight, out of mind.  You can wash them later after the inspection.  That'll buy you a little more time.
