It's very regrettable that I have to check the air in my tires... Perhaps straighten my stereo wires?

Albino Rhino booze review, I've mostly given up the hooch but still a fun channel.

The recap:

It was laggy.

So George kept calling out on camera for Curtis or Jaz to help. But ... crickets.

Then he called Apple support. They put him on hold or said they'd call him back in 20 minutes or something. Eleven people were in line on the phone ahead of him, apparently.

Then he watched a YouTube tutorial on his iPad ... about how to live stream on YouTube. It was poetic irony at its finest.

He deleted more photos from his iPad to see if that would help. I think he also cleared his cache. Didn't help.

[Then I went downstairs to get a glass of champagne and a slice of pizza. I might have missed something.]

Meanwhile, I don't think anyone jumped in chat. (Maybe Mischa?) He wondered where everyone was. I felt bad, but my YouTube was streaming on my TV and I was too lazy to reach for an actual device, so I had to watch silently.

Then there was something about Ratty Patty doing something sexual with her dog.

Finally he gave up. He announced that, due to technical difficulties, he might only do a YouTube video once a week now and stop doing live streams forever. But first he'll try to get to the Apple Store soon.

And throughout all of it ... those broken glasses. :(

I wish I could help him but I know nothing about live streaming ... except that people on Facebook seem to do it every two seconds. Maybe he should just do it there.

Sooooooooo, anyhoo. Goodnight, kids. I'm out.

I know this was thrilling. You're welcome.

I got the email notification that he was live, but I figure if he won't let me in his chat, what's the point of watching live?  So.... I took a nap instead of listening live.  George says now that he's doing live youtube videos that everybody on sewergab wants to copy him....WELL!!

I think I was the first Sewergabber to do a live YouTube video, so he's copying me.   >:(

Just Sayin...

Thank goodness he doesn't use Windows, apparently he doesn't know a thing about that.

Doesn't look like his rash is getting any better, but it doesn't look like it's getting any worse either...

whoozit

Does George have a rash or does the rash have a George?

Sounds like somebody in the chat is trying to help him with his lagging issues like he requested, and of course George is yelling at them, while he's on the phone to his Internet Provider.

bwahahahaha

He doesn't know why it doesn't take the photos off his other devices when he deletes pictures he doesn't want from his hard drive.

Yeah, that one made it worth listening, but I don't think there were many listening live.  I could be wrong.

I stand by my original gut feeling, that without sewergab, George is nobody.

SnapT

Why does he use OBS for YouTube live streaming?  It's not like he's doing anything fancy.

Well, it's free, and I'm sure he'll be doing all sorts of fancy things soon, as soon as he gets his computer storage issues sorted out.

I think Muddy tried OBS with his youtube stream the other night, and I think he was satisfied with it, not sure.

Thanks for doing this.  I would watch- but then I would probably start feeling a twinge of sadness for him... Until he started yelling at somebody trying to help him, or brought up Kathy's clam or Patty screwing her dog.  And then I would remember that there is a reason that he is exactly where he is.  Human excrement.

Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why he did not keep going with Jaz and Curtis.  They treated him with (undeserved) respect (or at least treated him better than I would.)  They brought in listeners, promoted the show, and provided some actual entertainment (sorry George, listening to you on the phone with tech support just does not cut it... Even on a Wednesday night.)

It sounds like it was  long, drawn out waste of time.

I'm glad Muddy and Jaz are now free to devote their time to better podcasts.  Georges' loss.

If George ever realizes the error of his ways, and returns to bellgab, there might be a chance for him, maybe not. George might not be able to admit to himself that without sewergab.....

It amazes me, how many broadcasters chase their listeners away, just because they don't like the reasons their audience is listening. If you're a raving success because half your listeners think you're an idiot, or a drama queen, or a joke, and enjoy getting together to listen to you and have a good laugh, while posting on a forum together about it, and you block them, leave their forum, and all other kinds of "listener rejection", well, I guess it's ok as long as you do it just because you enjoy it, and like listening to yourself talk.

Yes, but if he had it to do all over again he wouldn't bring up personal information

The trouble is that George thinks he can parlay his efforts into some sort of money making venture.  He assured his listeners he was going to be prepared for this live stream.  He obviously wasn't.  I get a kick out of how he attacks his listeners who are trying to help him, then laments that no one will come to his house and help him.  I wonder if he would actually hit you if you were standing there in front of him trying to help him?  lol.

George, if you read this, just give it up man.  True, people run successful YT channels complete with live streams from time to time.  People have figured out how to complete their Patreon accounts.  It seems impossible for you.   It is beyond your limited reach.

Be happy with what you have now George, a steady pay check each month, and a budget that allows for a little extra spending for a mail order bauble and a trip or two to the dollar stores.

Put aside your dream of owning a metal box house in the desert with the incinerator toilet.  It ain't gonna happen in your advanced years my friend.  Take a look around at the place you live now.  Look at all you have accumulated over the years.  Be happy with where you are now.  Be satisfied that all you have is provided for you.  There is no other way for you to exist.

George  didn't review the North by Northwest movie last night? I thought that was his plan.

Maybe all the technology issues threw him off his game a bit?

I'm confident he'll get them all sorted out. To all you naysayers, let the past predict the future..
There is no stopping the Big Guy he'll be successful

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

The container house is one of the saddest delusions I've heard him utter. I appreciate having dreams but that one's not happening.

The sad thing is, I think George could have made a decent income interacting with, and entertaining his sewergabber fans, the cornerstones the builder rejected.
