I just saw on the T.V. a Xmas tv spot. Its not even thanksgiving yet. Also I have been seeing many stores putting up Xmas stuff before Halloween. I am getting burned out of Xmas sooner each year. Is anyone having the same problem.

Yeah.  The main drag in my neighborhood already has their tinselled and lighted shooting star decorations on the light poles turned on.  It looks a bit tawdry and sad, just like when decorations are left on too late.

I'm all for Thanksgiving decorations.  Paper cut-out cherubic Indians especially.

I don't even think of it as christmas anymore. Just a couple days to spend with family and friends... and you guys too.

We don't buy presents like we used to. Maybe a couple things, but mostly we just hang out. I suppose when little ones start coming around that may change.

I like Christmas lights.  People should keep them up all year.  Like Mexican restaurants.

Christmas is just other day to spend time with family and friends. We really don't spend a lot of money on gifts. We just have a some very good food for dinner. Family is the most important thing out there.

WTF is with the stores? My wife and I tried to purposefully go in and buy TG decorations for our kids and no one has them.  Not lights and stuff, but just leaves, pumpkins, turkeys etc to put up around the house.   Fred Meyer (a department store/grocery store in the Northwest) is the only place that carries anything, and it's just a small little stand of stuff.   Of course, all the xmas crap is 8 aisles deep already.   TG is the holiday nobody wants to remember.   What amazes me is that you'd think people would buy the stuff if they had it for sale.   They could even sell thanksgiving lights and yard decor and I bet you'd get people to buy them.

Costco had a lot of Christmas stuff up before Halloween this year.

People over here already have Christmas lights and wreaths up. It doesn't look right but oh well.

I like turkey day and Christmas more now because I get to see family and friends I don't see all the time. I guess it's a getting older kind of thing.

I noticed Christmas decorations already up in local shopping strips from November 1st. It gets earlier each year.
