The United States and Canada are the only two countries who celebrate Thanksgiving. Albeit, we celebrate on different days, but we are the only one

s who celebrate.

Australians were convicts, they didn't have pilgrims unless it was Willie Sutton coming for a visit.

But they do have party games on the day we celebrate like :

Shave a crocodile day.

Pin the tail on the koala.

Coat a coatamundi and wrestle it.

And the ever popular kangaroo pouch races, where many Australians fight to see how many they can fit into one pouch.

This says a lot,
"Bell Gab forum has become unmanageable. May I suggest the Beyond Dark Matter forum."

No thanks.

I just checked it out for the first time. Reading that forum is like listening to Nickelback.

Oops. Is it run by someone here? If so, sorry.

What is Casio doing over there??   :(

If Sarah IS really a girl she could come over and give me hands on training in how to insert photos in my videos. And I could use my official Alex Jones approved Homeland Security scanners to check on whether her boobs are real or Mammorex (R).

And soon the great seer, sage and mystic from the East, Piitsburghdamus (tm) will be making an appearance in my videos.
He could debate the great fraud ed dames.

Hmm, dames, hoagland, George, me AND Pittsburghdamus(tm) all on the same show.

It would be definitely bee-yond bee-leaf !

I have sent the video to Noory and formally asked him for me to be a guest.

It was amazing how quickly Sarah commented on my video. Almost as if she is lurking.

I've been thinking about it and there's a small chance I might be Sarah Brestlin. I black out sometimes -- have ever since my epic, 2 week cough-syrup binge back in '06.  Hmmm.

I misread what you said initially as "I was reading that forum while listening to Nickelback, yo" and I found myself disliking you.

A little.

:(

I normally like everyone but, damn.

Anyway, yeah, Casio's starting his own podcast too. I tried to listen to it but he kept breathing into the microphone. That's a deal breaker for me and podcasts.

I did find a wonderful quote from someone named Debi on there:

"Never let go of your dreams, Casio. Step back, define it and refine it, but don't let go. Start small and work your way through it. The biggest regrets in life are the should haves - could haves - would haves."

She should write for Joel Olsteen.

This goes out to Jazmunda:

I tried looking up Australian Thanksgiving traditions on Wikipedia and I couldn't find any (????). I was curious because I know the flora and fauna of Australia is different, and such things as Turkeys or dressing-bushes and such probably don't exist in Australia. Yet, you must eat something special for Thanskgiving! I know I could make a joke about eating koala bears or kangaroos, but I'll refrain.

Let us know, though. I'm sure all of bellgab would be curious about finding out what Australians do for Thanksgiving day.

Instead of turkey, it's probably Emu....

Impossible. He is a "Worker in the light". Shines so brightly that even Shadow people cannot survive in any area he resides in.

The Dark Matter XM forum is really making me question my life choices.

The people there are honest, sincere, encouraging and forthright. Like Mennonites or something. Their jokes are clean and wholesome, but funny and heart warming at the same time. There's no sarcasm, or slander, or bitterness, or rage, or psychopathy at all. Everyone there is trying to lift each-other up in their own little way and, perhaps, leave this world a better place than the way they found it. They pray for each other, bathe each other in visualized white light, nurture each other, and nothing but kind words leave their lips.

Figuratively.

Because they're typing so it leaves their fingers, not their lips.

You understand, I hope.

Look at this quote: "No, I believe that on must accept their dark side and bless it. That way you CHOOSE your good side because it outshines that darkness. Everything in the world has both sides for balance. It's up to us to choose what we will be."

And

"Carlos Castaneda. Been meaning to read his stuff."

And

"each dog is unique and at times know us better than we do"

It makes me want to be a better man.

Producer Paul says Keith doesn't read this forum (whaaat?).  I'll send it to him,  don't know if I'll be stepping on any toes or if somebody already has, but what the hell -- you're right.  Needs to be on that site.

That doesn't make sense. Australia is Christian, right? Why wouldn't they celebrate Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving has some roots in religion, but isn't necessarily a religious holiday. The modern thanksgiving has almost nothing to do with religion anymore. Apparently, it was started because the Puritans were sick of all those damned holidays (yeah, who needs a day off... or sex!? Go Puritanism!) and wanted to only celebrate days of fast or days of thanks due to special events-- like a victory, or a flood or drought or other natural disaster.

Anyhow, the one that we Americans celebrate goes back to what is essentially a harvest festival for a particularly good year, and ended up becoming an annual tradition.

There's nothing saying other countries can't adopt a Thanksgiving of their own (actually, apparently Nov. 5-- Guy Fawkes Day-- evolved from one of those thanksgiving festivals), and I think they should, since it would totally stimulate the economy with the steep rise in food demand is a wonderful opportunity to allow families to get together and eat food that they don't normally prepare.

Hanky Clause: Art Bell's Dark Matter was awesome, and I want it to be back on the air soonish. Or something.

Laughter.

But it actually did cross my mind when I was over there. I thought, "Damn, when did I get so cynical and jaded?"

I'll say this, though â€" I lurked around here for a while before I got up the nerve to post something. And I was afraid people were going to be like, "Outsider, go away. You're not one of us." But nobody threw a rock at me or anything. Even when I occasionally stick up for Noory, people are somewhat tolerant. I've noticed that we're all pretty supportive of each other, in our own, um, special way.

We may not be posting sparkly graphics with hearts and teddy bears and stuff, but we still take care of our own, despite some of our differences. Everybody's pretty much welcome, unless you show up and spew jackassedness all over the place â€" then we will eat you.

So Kumbaya and all that.

Here, never let it be said that we can't hold our own ;D:

I stopped by that other forum briefly. "Incontinence" was the word that came to mind.

Meanandnasty

Behind once more on reading the thread, 668.  So, just one point about Bell Gab.  I am named MeanandNasty.  Even MeanandNasty treats Mr. Noory with respect by referring to him as Mr. Noory or Mr. Bell.

So from there, Happy Thanksgiving, may you have a day fill with sugar(cubes) and eat so much turkey that you restfully hit the hay.

Now, Mr. Noory that does not apply you.  Any additive symptoms of turkey highs or lows should dealt with before airtime.  Snores and hitting the head on the microphone are not conducive to good broadcasting.  Of course if you are pacing, you may get away with sleepwalking.

I love your music. Do you have it on SoundCloud or anywhere else, or just YouTube?

I'm listening to it now, after my mother just had a hysterical meltdown over the turkey. It's helping me get my blood pressure back down.

Thanksgiving is so friggin' stressful in our house. And with my dad not here, it's really sad and weird this year. I tried to talk my mom into going out to dinner or something, but she is insisting on still doing the whole shebang. And she's crying the whole time.

So mainly I'm holed up in my room watching "Cops" and popping in and out of this place.

Fun times!

Beyond Dark Matter forum - That's the guy who sucked up to sNoory and Hogue.

DM doesn't "suck up" to anyone, especially snoortard.  Also, Sarah-The -Troll has nothing to do with Dark Matter Forum.  She'd certainly get the same, or worse, deserved treatment as she gets here.

Why are you trying to insinuate bad feelings between BellGab and Beyond Dark Matter where none exist (except what might be planted by trolls)?

This is what I mean.  Someone actually reading the posts and threads and making their own decisions on what they read (and perhaps interact with members that have been there awhile).  Not making assumptions on what someone else says.
