Thanks for your kind comments and welcome to the board.
One thing I don't get is people commenting about the " mess ". I spent considerable time on Saturday clearing off all the piled up mail and such and taking the dishes into the kitchen and the like. I do need to vaccuum but my little cat Fuzzy loves to sleep on her pile of sweaters by the front door and it would scare her. She's never heard a vaccuum cleaner and is slowly, slowly getting used to me. She meows at me for petting a lot now and this morning she actually let me reach out and pet her when she was sitting near the end of my couch for the first time. She had been backing off. She loves to sleep on this thin rug that says " Merry Christmas " on it. I wouldn't have the heart to move it from her.
I also don't get the criticism for having a lot of things. Once things are made orderly in here & I can do things without my glasses falling off my face when I lean my head down, it will be a lot easier to keep the place up. My bookcases ( all  17 of them ) are mostly kept neat though dust seems to be a perpetual problem.
I think some of this may be an attack on someone who doesn't meet their idea of what someone should look like. I wear glasses NOT by choice, am overweight and READ.
Some people feel threatened by someone who reads to either educate themselves or others.
If I'd had journalism training ( and I did work on the school newspaper and self published fanzines years ago ) my videos would be more polished and professional.
And ... if I had the money like an Alex Jones or a Noory would they would look better too.
I do the best I can but continually seek to improve myself on and off the web.
I am looking into taking free journalism courses on line but everything is on hold until I get new glasses and deal with this car mess. My gf is driving me nuts because she doesn't get that the claims department takes time to investigate and process a claim. She's sooooo impatient & always has been. But I love her anyway. ... Most of the time, except for when she's driving me crazy !!!

Gotta get coffee now.

Good post Falkie!

I'm 49, and I'm learning new things and enjoy improving the way I do stuff too.

You don't get people commenting on the "mess" and then go on to say you spent time on SATURDAY taking the dishes into the kitchen? You allow the dirty dishes to accumulate to the point where you need to put aside time on a given day to return them to the kitchen?

I have to be missing something here, either I am taking shots at someone who is a little "delayed" (if this is the case then I do apologize) or you have mastered the art of self parody.

So what is the 'Beyond Dark Matter' show?

Much like the former Dark Matter program we will be having on guests, but as the name says, we will expand beyond dark matter.
Some of our already booked guests do include former Dark Matter and Coast to Coast AM guests while also including some that have nothing to do with anything strange or unusual.

Beyond Dark Matter is our Podcast and I have already been in the process of booking guests for the 2 hour program.

Well then....thanks for the info. You can go back to ignoring me now.

forgive the slight, I don't think it was meant in that manner. there is nothing wrong with building an audience.
Forgiveness isn't necessary onan, you're cool.  This troll is pretty good at taking abstract info out of context.

You are welcome.
If you ever need input or clarification on anything I send out just send me a message and I will clarify the information for you.

Before I leave BellGab I want to make it clear that we are not against any forum.
When I started the DMXM forum I made it clear that we were an open community and even included a "Friends of Dark Matter" section where owners, moderators or members of other communities, sites, etc can discuss their preferred site.
That isn't done by any site if they are against another.

Pardon me? I just asked a question. What is your problem?

oh and DangerUFO...is your avatar a take off of 'Danger UXB'? I loved that show.

Taken from a old Sinister Cinema VHS cover. The entire image is really cool. Obviously taken from a 1940's or 1950's Sci-Fi pulp magazine. If anyone knows the origin I'd appreciate knowing.

I found a image on amazon. Let me see if I can post it.

Judge me if you like, but these "dark dipshit" posts are the highlight of my day today. Something told me to pop in and catch up and, by George, it's been worth it. Belly laughs aplenty! Love you/thank you Art! xoxo

Is it a coincidence that Molly Bloom's and Aldous Burbank's last names each begin with 'B'? There are no coinshidences. Or coinkidinks

Or inkadinkadoos.

And for those who think I don't always think about Pittsburgh ...

Art isn't the only one who has things that won't neatly fit in a box, but in this case, just add Augustiner and ...

Pittsburgh In A Box. Another verison of Monopoly with things like Kennywood, the Carnegie Musuem and my beloved Forbes Field.
One of the things I was going to do yesterday was take my Imac to the Apple Store and get them to fix the mirror image problem for me if posisble.
I think that you can do that in Lion or Mountain Lion or Maverick but I'm not sure. I have read up on it but can't figure out how to fix it.
Next week I will drag my Mac in a cab, take it to the bus and then to Walnut Creek and see what someone at the Genius Bar can do.
All it takes is time, money and probably a handtruck.

Oh, and I insist on a really old version. Real Player 10, I think. I have the "plus" upgrade to burn MP3s. Very reliable and works great for me. I only really use it to convert music and burn discs. And stream.

These newfangled upgrades. I just don't get it.  ::)

Yeah,  He is proving that a bunch of dedicated amateurs with a Macbook Pro, an internet connection, and an actual interest in the subject can out-game George Noory and perm-rat.
