Faulkie,

Some of these people who are mean bastards are the ugly they see reflected by them toward you back to them because they don't love themselves like you love yourself because you are real and you present yourself as yourself and your posts can be longish but to my knowledge you don't use run on sentences.

Thanks.Would you like me to ?Anything for a fellow Bellgabber and you are also well thought of in here by many and should post more.I enjoy your posts.

lol

;)

If they don't like me now, just wait til they see my in a wig and mustache, but I draw the line at being in drag like Tommy.
Except maybe going on as the Statue of Liberty or Columbia being a patriotic Conservative after all and I'd have to do it outside because the sparklers would set my apartment on fire.
;D
If I ever made real money from You Tube or hit the lotto no one would see the mess because then I could hire a maid, would have a house with multiple bedrooms and could hire a personal organizer as well as a personal trainer.
It's just a pity I couldn't chase them around the house becuase of my knee so I could go on as Harpo Marx.
;) :D

Hey...does anyone know what the deal is on this Facebook page called Dark Matter XM? They seem to be announcing that they are running Art's podcasts tonight. Who are these folks?

Stings almost as bad as Diet Dr. Pepper.

You crazy kids...I must be the only fella in school not squirting drinks through my nose.  Don't I feel like a square. :-\

No one forces anyone to watch them after they view one.

But I will not have anyone criticize me for doing them as far as my personal looks are concerned. That has NOTHING to do with the content of my videos.

I think your video's are a delight!  They make me laugh!  I don't understand all these posters who criticize everything -- they have NO life!!!

I am a newie ... been a lurker since I found this board last month ... but wanted to say hello ... so thought I'd jump into this post.

Thank you all for your lively conversations and nostalgic viewpoints.  I have found that as I got older and moved around -- there are fewer folks that I can relate all my earlier 'experiences' with.  I was fortunate to live in San Francisco in the mid-70s and Denver from 1983 - 2002 ... then moved back 'home' to Michigan (outside the big D) ... folks here just are not open to any of this -- and I refuse to push my views on anyone!

It was excellent listening to Art (on-demand) for those few weeks ... and I am so grateful that I didn't have a personal meltdown or big emotional reaction to what has happened. It probably amounts to the fact that Corporations suck ... Art was from a different place (like the heart!) --

Anyways, again thanks to all of you for being you.

In Sincerity,

Ms. C

(LOL) and I thought that Faulkner was the master of the "stream of consciousness" run on sentence!

George entered Harry's Bar and saw the men in the blue shirts drinking sangria.  Outside were the mountains and beyond the mountains was the valley with the river and the trees and the gray rocks and the brown rocks and the black rocks.  Sometimes sangria was all you could hope for.

They are, as many forums will be, opening a live thread to their members and guests, for comment during the show, while listening to it.  I don't see how you can interpret that as anything else . . . unless you are just trying to start trouble.  Here is the post from Facebook:

Join us tonight as we unveil Jim Harold's Paranormal Podcast with the inaugural episode on the Dark Matter Network. In conjunction with the Dark Matter Network, the Dark Matter Forum will be once again allowing 100% live, limited restrictions, guests allowed to post discussion forum.

I don't have a clue as to what that forum is doing. My guess is they want any attention they can get.

Thanks for your kind comments and welcome to the board.
One thing I don't get is people commenting about the " mess ". I spent considerable time on Saturday clearing off all the piled up mail and such and taking the dishes into the kitchen and the like. I do need to vaccuum but my little cat Fuzzy loves to sleep on her pile of sweaters by the front door and it would scare her. She's never heard a vaccuum cleaner and is slowly, slowly getting used to me. She meows at me for petting a lot now and this morning she actually let me reach out and pet her when she was sitting near the end of my couch for the first time. She had been backing off. She loves to sleep on this thin rug that says " Merry Christmas " on it. I wouldn't have the heart to move it from her.
I also don't get the criticism for having a lot of things. Once things are made orderly in here & I can do things without my glasses falling off my face when I lean my head down, it will be a lot easier to keep the place up. My bookcases ( all  17 of them ) are mostly kept neat though dust seems to be a perpetual problem.
I think some of this may be an attack on someone who doesn't meet their idea of what someone should look like. I wear glasses NOT by choice, am overweight and READ.
Some people feel threatened by someone who reads to either educate themselves or others.
If I'd had journalism training ( and I did work on the school newspaper and self published fanzines years ago ) my videos would be more polished and professional.
And ... if I had the money like an Alex Jones or a Noory would they would look better too.
I do the best I can but continually seek to improve myself on and off the web.
I am looking into taking free journalism courses on line but everything is on hold until I get new glasses and deal with this car mess. My gf is driving me nuts because she doesn't get that the claims department takes time to investigate and process a claim. She's sooooo impatient & always has been. But I love her anyway. ... Most of the time, except for when she's driving me crazy !!!

Gotta get coffee now.

Is it a coincidence that Molly Bloom's and Aldous Burbank's last names each begin with 'B'? There are no coinshidences. Or coinkidinks

I gained weight due to a series of 3 prolonged asthma/bronchitis related illnesses <snip>
Ah, Falkie don't feel the need to constantly explain your life to internet strangers.  It really gets my goat when able-bodied folks criticize the surroundings or appearance of folks with illnesses.  Sadly, I speak from experience.

It's a simple announcement to the Dark Matter Forum members on Facebook.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Me thinks RG is trying to stir a quiet pot.

forgive the slight, I don't think it was meant in that manner. there is nothing wrong with building an audience.

I also find it incongruous that someone criticizes me for looking like Noory when his avatar PARODIES and makes light of Noory.

Pot calling the kettle black ?

You may now find it incongruous, the new glasses may help clear that up for you.

K...I was just wondering cause they say they are starting a show called 'Beyond Dark Matter' on January 14th. Not stirring nothing...just asking.

Incorrect.
I run DarkMatterXM (soon to change over to our podcasting domain) so I should be able to tell you that your interpretation skills are off their margins by just a bit.
Thanks for playing. Better luck next time.
