I'm sure art knows people but, with all do respect to art, the problems he ran into with Sirius were all things you could see coming --- at least in terms of the streaming problems, the lack of international exposure. He said on gabcast that the dude who enticed him into it talked up the international aspects of Sirius, which just wasn't true. If art did know people who could've advised him, he didn't listen. I hate to say it.

Hopefully he's listening now.

I heard Art mention this bit last night, implying he'd been misled about SXM's international reach.  I know he got from calls around the world, including Australia, Finland, the PI, and the UK.  Seems like there was also a call or two from somewhere in Central or South America.  It's reasonable to assume those people overseas were able to get DM.

I must be missing something.  Could not anyone in the world with a smartphone or tablet and WiFi access have down loaded the SMX app and heard the show?  Where is the misrepresentation by SXM on this point?

...I knew a girl who swore by Dale Carnegie's How to WIN friends and Influence People. She was and continues to be a complete manipulator + scam artist, & she even got charged with child endangerment because she left her 9 year old kid home alone for a week while she was out scamming people at a seminar. I see.  I remember hearing Art mention 27M SXM listeners worldwide on a couple ocassions. So that could be factually correct, but misleading at the same time considering physical address restrictions.

There certainly are a half dozen are so posters who are dedicated to dissecting everything Art says, line by line, and then attacking it.  Rarely are they positive, maybe just enough to claim they are not what they really are. It is not just an issue of pointing out some obvious flaws Art has as a person, such as not being a businessman, etc., but to make out Art as dishonest and a liar.  It clearly seems to be a mission to them.  These "people" are unrelenting, and from my point of view brazen about their goal to tear Art down.

In an entirely unrleated matter, what is the going rate to be paid as a troll?  Or is it an unpaid position, and simply the result of psychological  issues?
