I thought he and Art were supposed to be such good friends.

Here you go folks. This is WHAT happened. As many of you know, we were on XM for years . The end of OCT that channel went away. We knew this was coming for months prior. WE began negotiations to get Sirius/XM to BUY the rights to air my show. When Art went on Sirius those negotiations continued. We didn't know what channel we'd be on, but I wanted to flow after Art's Dark Matter .It would have been a strong channel. He up and RESIGNED. We then got the offer we were waiting for and had two options for channels 104 and a truckers channel. We selected 104.
We are NOT in Art's original 7pm-10pm PT slot. we start at 10PM PT. He RESIGNED. We never expected that...and frankly he made a mistake , I believe.
Don't blame us for getting BACK on a satellite network we were ON in the past.

Wow, that is a great question.  It's like a veteran closer having to swallow his pride to become the 8th inning set-up man for the guy who took his job.  I don't think I could do it, but I don't want to be on the air as much as Art says he does.

This is the nail in the coffin and it's over. Art won't be back on Sirius and they'll probably hold him to the NC. And hearing Art's tone on all this he'll just sit back and not fight it.

Agree.  When I call SiriusXM tomorrow to cancel their service, I'm not even going to mention Art.  I'll tell them I was willing to PAY for a live late-night broadcast just to get away from fookin' C2C because I can't stand George Noory.  Let them know it's not just Art's fans they're losing, but a whole additional demographic that simply detests Noory as a broadcaster, and would pay to hear anyone but him.

Well Art told us previously that he was open to a time slot change of some kind to keep Dark Matter four hours, maybe there's enough room on Indie 104 for both shows. Though I expect it to be a bitter pill to swallow - there aren't any other options because SiriusXM won't waive the non-compete. Selfishly I want him to stay on satellite radio - it's clear, no more nighttime fade out to deal with and I can stay on one channel as I travel rather than trying to find a station that has him.
