I don't know -- Joe Pike is pretty hot.  Strong, silent, mysterious.  Love Elvis and Harry and Jack Reacher, too, but that Joe -- mighty intriguing.

I really need to read these Jack Reacher books, I think.  Everyone who knows me says I'll love them.  However, Robert Crais and Michael Connelly are darn good writers:  Lee Childs, is it, has a lot to live up to.

I wonder if Art ever reads any mystery books.  They can be good fun.  Escapism.  I always fantasize I'm an L.A. police detective when I'm reading Michael Connelly's 'Harry Bosch' books.  When I read those books, I *am* Bosch.  (It's very transporting).

Ok I have something to say, CONTENT COUNTS. When I was with CC and was told to name my own price, it
was fewer commercials per hour. When I started with SXM I did four Hours and if you check you will find that
at least 3 1/2 of those hours were pure content.

Anybody can take four Hours and fill with a "nice guy" plus two and a half Hours of commercials and breaks
as well as Medical advice and promo's about how to invest 13 cents a day and call it a show.

The deal I offered should have been snapped up because as I have said it was a big win-win for everybody
concerned. That it was not, as of yet, still makes me believe there are other things at work here, only time will
tell. But I promise you this I did not WANT to quit, I was in a situation where the road forward was not viable.
I still want to be on the air now, I hope you all believe that and if I can find a way to be, I WILL.

It was MRSA.  And it won't go away.

Go to the Doc when you have an "active" lesion. Get it cultured. Take the antibiotics, and make sure you get an antibiotic nasal swab to apply 2x a day for 10 days. that will get rid of the active infection. Hopefully you will develop a bacterial environment on your skin that is resistant to future MRSA infections. You will always have the MRSA bacteria but your chances of infecting another are pretty small.

Ok, I worked in radio for 25 years, and in fact, my first job was at WAVZ in New Haven, where Art Bell, in "The Art of Talk," says he walked away from a job decades ago. WAVZ was a legendary top 40 station. I believe that, while streaming is all fine and good, that, since SXM is a dead issue at this point, that the ONLY way for Art to have a financially viable show (the more listeners = higher ratings = more advertisers and advertisers that get results) is for Art to stream AND do terrestrial radio. Art, call Lew Dickey at Cumulus Radio. You know Lew wants to win the game with Clear Channel/Premiere. Lew Dickey (Cumulus CEO) could give you the shift you want (if you don't want to stay up all night, Art, I'm sure he'd give you 10p-2a eastern). Art, you know that you need to BROADcast to a BROAD audience. The streaming NARROWcast is just icing on the cake.  If you want, I know people at Cumulus. I can get you a number (though Art, I think you know who to call at Cumulus). Art, don't feel bad about hurting Noory's show. I have learned over the years not to look back and to do the right thing. Art, really, do you think Noory's gives a crap about you?  Art. Please. Call. Cumulus. Now.
