Not a problem. Just search Darkness Radio.  Jim Harold does a podcast on there and I really enjoy him as well. His campfire show has had some freaky shit as told by callers.

I love The Campfire!  :-*  It's like a weekly Ghost to Ghost.

Harold also posts here occasionally.

In my opinion, the Charles Faddis interview was the best Dark Matter show.  Fantastic interview.

I reiterate the motion. Charles Faddis was my favorite show of the run.

Did Art ever interview Robert Anton Wilson? That would have made for a great interview.

Yes, Back on 7/17/1997

Paul,

DOn't know if you guys got to listen to our town hall session I had on jTV or not today...it's being kindly edited for content to remove some over abundance of referencing on my part  8) - but I will be re-streaming a replay it's about a 3hr 30minute show - the first hour or so is a bit slow - the last 2 hrs we got more hopping with the calls coming in and jaz and MV and all that were there it was a lot of fun.

I prefer 24 hours of being on board a starship...

Star Trek TNG Ambient Engine Noise (Idling for 24 hrs)

I can sleep to that one...
Beats listening to my neighbor's cow...

To be VERY clear I was not proposing anything that many other Hosts are not doing on Sirius/XM, as a
independent Broadcaster streaming or even being on regular Broadcast stations at the same time is
fine, we proposed to keep Sirius/XM exclusive but simply stream as others do.

This was not a impulsive decision much as it may have looked that way from the outside, we had been
talking with Sirius/XM for the entire time almost every day about the streaming problems. Listeners to my
program were effected to a much greater extent then for other shows that had been developed on the
Sat part of the company because they almost entirely came in on the 30 day trial period which was really
tough for them. If you give something a try and have a bad experience when it comes time to pay about
$180.00 for continued service what do you think most people would do? Sure, perhaps some did not like
the show or some just could not afford it, but we had hundreds of emails from people who were getting
constant drop outs.

I am in no way angry with Sirius/XM just disapointed that something could not be worked out. I am also
very sad that they are not talking to us. Perhaps I am expecting a reply too soon. I would like nothing better
than to be on right now.

At the end we had requested some remedy like a Year of free streaming OR until they could fix their
problem. The break point was when they said no, that was Monday. On Wednesday we proposed what
you see above which they said they were activly considering. Nothing since, no communication from them.
Maybe they think my back problems were too much, there were times it was tough to even walk home after
sitting for four hours. BTW, I chose to do four hours instead of the contracted three and if we had found a
way to continue I would have done so till I could no longer walk. So if you think I just wanted to quit you are
so wrong.

The only good news of the day is that Airyn's Family is safe after the Typhoon, we were very worried. Thank
God for                                                                                    Art

Your reputation as a MASSIVE prima Donna precedes you and virtually everything you touch turns to shit. I listened to you SLAVISHLY for over two decades. To be honest bell I wouldn't listen to you if you paid me. I can not get the time and cash back from sirius Canada. I have taken a 200 dollar loss and that's that.

;D  I could listen to this forever!!!  That was one of my favorite things about the show... hearing the ship in the background.  With my old Marantz & studio monitors... you could feel it in the floor throughout the house.  God, I miss that stereo.

Thanks, Producer Paul!  I'm putting it on right now; gonna 'space out' & get this place organized.   8)

Isn't is clear what Art is telling us?  "...back problems were too much."  Art needs our support for giving it his best attempt, despite his back pain and long absence from broadcasting.  I, for one, am stepping out of the speculation and B.S.

It doesn't offend me. It just puzzles me that your parameters seem so rigid that it seems like you're (a) painting me as a faith healer/bunko artist/witch doctor/whatever and (b) discount the possibility that such things are possible.

Almost exactly two years ago, on November 11, 2011, my mother was rushed to the hospital and had to have emergency surgery. The doctors told us there was almost NO chance she would even survive the surgery, much less recover to any significant degree. My family and I and our friends understood this. We understood that science and medicine were going to do all they could to save her life, but that we should not hope.

We hoped anyway. And we prayed. All of us. A lot. Friends. Family. Strangers.

And she came through the surgery. And we had six additional weeks with her, to spend time with her, say our goodbyes, make our peace before it finally WAS her time.

Do I give the doctors credit for doing all they did? Of course. Do I think we would have even had those six extra weeks without them? No, I don't.

But I also definitively believe that what you dismiss as "intention" played its part as well.

This is not the only example I could give. But it's the only one that really matters. And frankly, I don't care whether you believe it or not. I know what I've seen, felt and experienced. I don't refute science, up to and including evolution.  Science is wonderful. But science is narrow, and science is limited, and science is only part of the totality of existence. It only tells us "how". Not "why" or even "what". It is meaningless without the human and, yes, spiritual components that MAKE us who and what we are and contribute to this vast, eternal, physical-spiritual thing we call our existence. And for me at least, I have absolutely no conflict between accepting the veracity of science while also believing that there's something more, up to and including a higher power. Science and spirituality are not mutually exclusive. They are essential components of a whole. It is we humans who insist on considering them as separate entities.

And respectfully, I have nothing more to say to you on this matter. Amen.

Well said.
