When I first saw The Day the Earth Stood Still, Gort just scared the crap out of me.  I didn't even notice that when he walked up the spaceship ramp, the metallic back of his knees crinkled!

Sorry this took so long to post, I stepped away for awhile.
The conversation started on page 1204 +/-  in the GNS thread. It runs for 10 or 15 pages with gnoory (george) adding to the conversation, to defend his position.  The BIG surprise was when Art Bell himself, joined in the conversation to directly refute Gnoory.
Mind you, Art had only posted 2 or 3 times on bellgab before that night. That glorious  & epic night!

I started reading/joined this forum because I wanted answers, and Art Bell has been actively giving them thanks to Bellgab. Why would you guys bring up and discuss the whole Oates things knowing a. It's an incredibly painful and torturous memory/chapter of his life, and b. It is a sure fire way to keep him off of this forum and stop him from actively participating and posting? WTH?! How hard is it to say, "Google it if you want to know. Out of respect for Art, we're not discussing that here"?

Thank you! This is precisely why I love Art Bell on the air or off. It's the theater of Art. He never disappoints and he's not spineless. Nothing like the time he shut down Kreskin and banned him. LOL Art delivers.

Exactly. From their perspective it would be wise for them just to ignore it and hope it goes away. If they start deleting stuff people will just double their efforts and prolong the situation. This is why we must not stop. A full on relentless assault is needed. Remember to keep it clean and witty and respectful. Maintain the rage and let it go raging on through the night.
