I have a copy of Jorch's shitty cookbook

I'd bet that if we all came together and made a BellGab Late-Night Snack Cookbook we could probably create one that has awesome snacks and possibly limit it to only ONE turkey sandwich! We could call it the "Toorkey's Interview Sandwich" and make sure that it contains extra Tryptophan so anyone who eats it could have the same experience as listening to his show.

Ok, I must know ... What the hell are "Pully Slabs of Bread"?
.       They are obviously what you spread with gobs of flavored BUTTER and chase with a tall glass of gravy!

As a cookbook lover, I would say this book sucks! The butter flavors are not for people on diets. Who flavors butter? Yuk.

I haven't seen it yet but $noorge forgot Yak butter.
Probably with garlic.

Take cookbook. Place 1 box pizza rolls unopened on top. Slather all with 1 lb of garlic Yak butter. Place on microwave safe plate. Put in microwave for 6 minutes on high. Yak dung cubes for seasoning optional. Flavor to taste.
Serve flaming to $noorge. Call 911. And Tommy.

How about we interview the turkey before its cooked and turned into a sandwich ?

I'm certain that the turkey would be quite vocal about being picked by $noorge to be eaten much less eaten BY $noorge.

Turkey would ask for Presidential Pardon on the basis that it is cruel and unusual punishment to be eaten by $noorge.

And probably get it too.

George's contribution was to have the alien on the cover be a cartoon

The Grays are suing because they feel they have a case because of slander in that people will now think Grays hang out with $noory.
And defamation of character suit too.

It has to be tough being George.  Reviews making fun of his pizza roll incident, talking cats and one stating " The "author" should go back to doing what he does best -- ruining what was once the best late-night talk show."  I am not saying it is not deserved... reading the first couple of pages of this thread makes it abundantly clear that this should not have been written and that it certainly is not really a "cook book."

I actually bought this (yes, I know...) but I wanted to see it for myself and give a fair review to it, since I know 90% of the reviews are going to be... well, silly.

So far, I'm unimpressed.

The categories are based on topics on the show, so it is difficult to figure out where to find things (other than the "health foods" section, which has, predictably, the Non-Tommy approved recipes in it). Also, the toaster tarts recipe they tout on the book actually requires preparing them well ahead of time and having them around for when you decide you are hungry at night. Basically, if you are hungry and want a late night toaster snack... buy pop tarts unless you want to go through prep work ahead of time... which makes them sort of defeat the purpose of being in a "late night snack" book.

These recipes are not very inspired, though someone apparently thought that it was a well-written tome that accompanies c2cam very well... 5 stars.

Still working on my review, though. I don't plan to have "well-written" included.
