You might be right, but it's self defeating IMO, not to embrace both your supporters AND your critics, when the bottom line is listener count.  It's simple math.  Supporters=listeners.  Critics=listeners.  Supporters+Critics=MORE listeners.

Being prepared to welcome your critics, would be "coming from a good place" IMO.
Expecting mostly masses of praise and congratulations... not so much.

This is true not only on the air, but in real life as well IMO.  I could be wrong.

I look forward to what you do next. I used to be a big wrestling fan in the days of Andre the giant and king Kong Bundy. I personally don't like it or watch wrestling now but one topic I would always be interested in is sports gambling.

Anyhow, why did you let Michael take control away from you? I don't want to sound mean, but you rarely spoke during the show, so it's difficult for me to take your commitment to the show seriously...

No idea why you keep attacking me. You don't know either of us and have no idea what I contributed.

My former co-host wants to stir up drama and get negative attention as you can see here and this immaturity is why I don't want to be associated with him. I actually apologized yesterday to Steve Warner who Michael started attacking for no reason just to get attention. I'm done with that embarrassing crap.

He obviously got you to fight for him. I have no beef with you.

I wanted to keep the show together at all costs and did not want to hurt my friends feelings. He can say he did everything, I can say I did. You will believe who you want. I assure you however that this show used to be the most important thing in my life, it was my idea and other than not being able to talk, it was mostly my work.

I have been doing online projects for years. Michael and I met on another project/website that is part of my body of work. I have accumulated experience in Sales, Marketing and coding and that is why the show was a success.

Just talk to michael, he can barely form a sentence, acts like a teenager and now needs Curtis or some other poor sap for the technical side of things.

Michael doesn't really know much or believe in the paranormal but I do admit he has learned alot and has done good work inviting alot of good guests and talking over me.

That is the god honest truth.

So true. Art was a pioneer and classic Art was awesome--he was unique and I and most of us here loved to listen to him. BUT then he'd quit for some reason, come back for awhile, quit for some reason, etc.  After the 2nd time, I knew he was BS'ing although I don't know why--if he didn't want to be on the air he could have just retired. Maybe he needed the money ??
Finally, I'll speak of the elephant in the room about his off air character --- he's been married how many times and isn't it strange that not long after Ramona died he married a woman young enough to be his GRAND daughter and then had kids in his 60s !! It's a free country and it's his business but the turmoil in his personal life sort of indicates that all is not perfect in the private life of Art and maybe things related to THAT are the real reasons for his suddenly quitting multiple times.

I wish Art well in his retirement but to quote Falkie "I'm done with the man".
