Someone find out how Falkie explains the mid-air pulverization of thousands of pounds of concrete and get back to me on that.

He's currently coming to the end of his MEng in Architectural engineering and is keen to liase with you on the possibility of a collaboration to write a peer reviewed paper. He recognises that you're about equal to him in his knowledge and understanding so it makes sense to approach you in this venture. Don't let him down Jack.

Don't answer the door. It's never worth the effort, just salesman and people that ask if they can buy your truck.

Don't answer the door.

if it's an unexpected knock or ringing of the bell, then i absolutely agree with this rule.  a random, unexpected doorbell ring at your home never improves your day.  never.  i can't recall a single instance where i was glad i answered the door.  not one.  if it's somebody i know or want to see, they'll apprise me of their intentions in advance.

not if you didn't send in the publisher's clearinghouse paperwork.  you had to be a part of their little system, whatever the fuck it was.

I never answer the door anymore. I have a camera that's connected to an app on my phone but I rarely even check to even see who's there anymore. I agree that nothing good can come from unsolicited visits.

I hope they are enjoying the view of a quiet suburban Melbourne street. They're not exactly getting a peek into the jazshack where the magic happens.

I did notice an inordinate amount of extra tiny cameras in weird places. I have a tech visiting next month and will get him to check it out.

Hey, Jaz.  Is Halloween as big Down Under as it is in The States?

Hey, Jaz.  Is Halloween as big Down Under as it is in The States?

In the past few years we have started to make it a thing. Sort of. Still not nearly as huge as in the states. Growing up I knew about Halloween from US TV but it was not a thing here. Nowadays some stores will sell meager decorations, some people may have a dress up party and some neighborhoods might set up small localised areas where kids can safely go trick or treating but it's not common.

The bellgabbers are talking about if Art came to bellgab for promotional purposes, or because he likes the bellgabbers here.

With hindsight.....

...this is a really interesting conversation.

MV just sang "The Sound of Music" in his best "opera". LOL's

Nope. Just a run of the mill weirdo. Rather rampant here. I'm considering having my door removed so Evil can't knock on it anymore

What a great week in BellGab podcasting history...

I thoroughly enjoyed the show from last night, and LOVED the Falkie content.

Gotta love those Julian Assange style "data dumps"... My favorite line was "Defcon Falkie"
