Fun show this w/e. I liked the Oates commentary and backstory. Was not aware MV had interviewed him in the past. I think spot-on with comments about pareidolia which I why I find it hilarious how Jeff can 'hear' something else than Oates and Oates will often quickly "oh yeah, that's what it is. Right on, I hear that."  A lot of the EVP shows that Art and other do I think is that phenomena. But they can still be fun shows. And, in a weird way, maybe 'reverse speech' or 'evp' tells more about the listener, or the finder, himself. Like an audio Rhorshach test? "What do you mean I have a problem Doc- you're the one showing all the dirty pictures?"   

ps: MV, you do good impressions. The Oates and Savage accents were hilarious. Savage seems to take the oft-purported quote about 'not wanting to join a club that would have me' to a new level. He insults loyal listeners and when they agree with him he confronts them about it. Sort of bizarre, though I haven't listened to him recently.  I sort of wonder why he does it. He likely has enough $ and his son due to the energy crap is likely richer than Croesus. He gets so excitable. Chooses to live/stay in a place that he hates. A dude who studied botany at Berkley and skinny dipped with Ginsberg (Allen not RBG) now some rightwing radio blowhard. A strange bird.

He only went into in briefly this cast but he can really nail Art’s voice in an uncanny, almost eerie way.
