That's a terrific idea, Andy!  I wonder if MV and onan can put it together on such short notice?

It's a perfect opportunity to get all the live chat people over for the podcast. Onan, make it so!

EarthAlien007

Maybe "Dateline's" Gnoory account is broken?

Now we'll never know who was scheduled for tonight, but neither will Jorch. Mua hahahahahahahahaha! Poach this, Snooron!

Evelyn Paglini was scheduled tonight which was already known because had already spilled the beans even before poachgate.

Shoot, another perfectly good off the mark conclusion gone sour.

And so it begins. :-\

Are you suggesting some foul play?

As an almost 2 decade veteran of listening to Art Bell, having Art miss due to back issues is a part of life.

With Art off the air I think it's a perfect time to debut the GabCast Podcast.

I don't think there is much of a chance tonight. I have a crapton of work to do. And Eddie Dean, b_dubb, and MV I think are in similar a boat.

We'll see.  I have been listening to the man for decades.  I predict another crisis/retirement within several months.

Foodlion

In accordance to previous posts, I too read dateline's posts. Appears it's either him or Lisa Lyons incognito. But then again, I could be wrong.

Well that's an even lamer excuse than having a sore back. ;)

I guess I'll just do some work today. HHHMMMMPPPPHHHHH :P

This may be Steelbot's big chance. >:(

crapton

That's what I've been calling him since that Starbucks version of "Layla" on Unplugged in '92.

onan

I am about as cynical as anyone can get. And no one other than Art has a clue. So not sure the reason for any accusations at this point other than to put a turd in a punch bowl.

Layla "unplugged" is absolute proof that marketing is more powerful than taste.

OK, just to show how much of a hidden optimist (deluded) person I am. I am thinking maybe this is just furthering the scam on c2c. Yeah wishful thinking.

EarthAlien007

Maybe this is a test to see if Nooron will call Evelyn Paglini and ask her on C2C tonight.

I wasn't going to post this because of the ensuing shitstorm, but not one minute after I sarcastically posted who wants to start the "Art Bell quits Dark Matter" thread, Dateline replied "GNoory" then immediately deleted his reply. Dateline had been an active Bellgab member for 38 minutes when he replied. How the hell did he know about "GNoory" in less than 45 minutes and why did he immediately delete his post? Enquiring minds want to know.

Go haunt your own fan forum, George.
Oh, yeah, that's right...

It couldn't possibly be George, he's in the middle of show prep.
