And I'm about absolutely sure I don't really want to live in the desert there where all these tests occurred, I mean look at how fucking much radiation has to be in the ground/water/area.

You ever read about Hanfords " Green run"?

Back in the day when my dad was farming on white bluffs ( just across the columbia from hanford), they would get visits from people who would only tell you that they were from the Goverment and were  going to need to take one of your farm animals, and if anything came up they would tell you.
He said you would see guys wandering though your fields with gieger counters escorted by security people in trucks with guns. And they would tell you to fuck off if you asked them why they were on your land.

Even a small nuclear war( Pakistan vs India) would be bad for the earth. I came across a paper that estimated that a full out war between them would loft enough shit into the atmospher to cause another little ice age.
Their problems are even more so that they have an early warning launch system that...once side's computers "detect" a launch the other side's computers are set to auto launch...that's bad news in the case of mistakes...for instance we detected a huge gamma ray burst with a satellite back in the 60's, (from space) but thought it was a nuke detonation by russians at the time.  These guys also don't have the safety of "approx" 30 minutes or so for missiles traveling over the arctic like we do if we "detect" a launch.  They have about 2 minutes time before the missiles are hitting the ground upon detection so yeah, that's the part of the world I worry about above all others.  Mainly cause I would like to go to Everest one day (So they better not go to war for MY PERSONAL Wants and NEEDS!)

Weeber: "Can you guarantee me I won't be dead after I get off the air with you Art?"

Art: "No."

Weeber: "Okay, well, let's do the program anyway, I can probably sell a few more books."

Well, Washington and Colorado better tell the DEA they have some forgot their OFFs....to go FUCK!

That turkey UFO footage is very convincing...

i used to have a vaporizer but it just wasnt the same as smoking a joint. in my opinion NOTHING beats smoking a joint. dabs and hash may be stroinger, but you dont get the organic taste and smells of the plant itself and all the wonderfully smelling subtleties of the healing herb.  Though for economical reasons, an ounce of hash will last be well over a year the stuff is so strong. Ice water extractation of course. I dont mess with anything that has been refined with butane. NOOO!!

It would appear that the DEA is taking a "top-down" approach

Ya, they do tours of B reactor, and then a tour of the whole place ( Purex plant, storage tanks, reactors). it's free to the public. No camera's, phones, etc. in the purex plant from what I've read. I think you hav to sign a waiver for the 2nd tour, because it's the area's are are more contaminated.

Like at Alcatraz...

"This is a self service tour folks, grab your audio headset and radiation meter, and proceed at your own pace."

That would be classic!

I gave my meter to a friend of mine to take on a commercial flight to TX a few weeks ago, and it literally started a warning alarm he was getting so much radiation.

Well Gnight for serious, I have to be at work at 7.
One more week and I'm free for the winter!

it doesn't meter alpha but supposedly you have to be really close to an alpha source to read it anyway.

eh, I joke about it, but I would only say if those places actually detonated something against us or an ally, they would be.  I don't think nuclear holocaust is the way to go.

And then there are some places that already look like they've been attacked like Del Paso Heights in Sacramento, parts of Oakland Ca and Detroit, Richmond, Ca and Antioch/Pittsburg Ca.
And Gary Indiana.

I've actually kind of thought this out....now IF i move back to japan, this may be something I'm going to get, but it's the only time i've felt compelled to own one.  Unless, I worked at a nuke plant, or with waste, what would be a daily use in my house to have this?  I mean, if it starts going off, pretty sure the levels are going to be bad enough that "shelter" is out of the question...IDK...

Yeah alpha waves are short and can be blocked by a piece of paper.
