Does anyone know the song Art plays with the drums and thundercracks?

It's called Thunderdrums, one of our members herewrote it.

Philadelphia Freedom has got to be my least favorite out of all of Elton John's music.  :(

it's got a great bass track, though.

Alternate timeline where Chris Cornell died in 1999?  That's weird.
I thought he did die... didn't he die of a drug overdose???

jazmunda

I love alternate timeline callers.

I bet Art brings up the people have a recollection of Nelson Mandela dying thing.

I feel like they are doing the smallest favor possible and only because they need the listeners. It would be a slightly bigger favor to allow paying subscribers to download the somewhere in time shows, which they cant. You HAVE to get the content by recording or stealing it if you want it, even as a paying subscriber. I always hated that.  The biggest favor would be to offer their entire Art Bell archive for download.

This would be the ONLY reason to pay for C2C insider. Clasic Art Bell downloads.

Oh wow. That's incredible. Good on whoever that is! It's a great piece of music.

No. He is alive and well and still making beautiful music.

His best friend and roommate Andrew Wood of the band Mother Love Bone died in 1989 of a drug overdose.

Pearl Jam formed as a result of that.

The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...

Just checking out what's on the web lately.

I guarantee there has not been any bashing of this site on another site I have been posting on.

How dare you! Two timing bellgab! What, is there a better looking foot over at the other forum? Next you'll be listening to George Noory and hiding it by saying "No, I didn't hear Dark Matter, I was over on the other side of the island."

Sorry, I'm really hoping JC calls in tonight. I'm all psyched for it. WB Roy.

I don't think that's true.  One of our members here emailed Art about it and requested it as a bumper and Art liked it.  It's by Scott Fitzgerald, it's from the 90's.

Heh... I've never given it a fair shake, I'll have to listen.

You know what else has a monster bass track? "Silly Love Songs"

I totally misunderstood something then.

Bingo.

What do I win?

Didn't Nelson Mandela die this summer too? Or was he just near death and had a miraculous recovery? Last I heard was his family gathering around his bed and he was in a vegetative state.

Maybe I'm thinking of Layne Staley.
I get all that grunge shit confused.
Not a fan.

I ripped about 211 or so in less than a week.

Sounds like a scene from Blazing Saddles.   ;D

The verified claim to a better track record than John Hogue?  And a ding.

Layne Staley did die of an overdose and was not found for a few days or weeks and his cat(s) had eaten his remains.

Yes, I was serious, I don't know what band he's even in though... I guess I was thinking of that other guy.  I'm more oblivious to Seattle music than my great grandmother.  And she's dead.  In another time line.

Shows you how well I know Art or how much I listen to old shows. Every time someone calls in and talks about alternate timelines he brings it up. You can take that to the bank. It's part of the Art Bell drinking game.

Art just said 'wild-ass guess.'
That word's fair game apparently.
