they are talking about putting him in Guantanamo bay on terrorism charges. bit much i think, why dont they put all the financial criminals there as well? im sure they are just trying to put the frighteners on anyone who attempts to hack the NASA computers.

Unless this guy really had some motivation beyond the challenge - I'd like to see some creative sentencing here.  Put the guy under some form of house arrest - and give him the job of looking for, and helping patch, weaknesses in the NASA computer security system!

all hackers, that is REAL hackers know both sides of the systems.

I would put him to work for the gov't

but alas their too stupid to do that
