i think when lightweights like snoors call sites like this "hater" or "hate" sites, it's an emotional appeal on multiple levels

The level I find most offensive is where he comes oh so very close to the term "hate speech" which is a crime, and an ugly one at that.

We are exercising our constitutional right to free speech you ASSHOLE!  As a public figure - take a hint or suck it up.  I'll even give you a free hint:  an occasional mention of sites like us in a useful and relevant context is not so bad.  Publicly crying in your beer on a semi-regular basis only proves you are as shallow as we say you are.

Understandable - and you're not alone. Personally, I'm glad there is a way, vague as it is, to draw a line against verbal intimidation, particularly when that intimidation incites physical violence or general social repression.

haha... well, you'd be surprised how many times the aclu has come down in support of some rather unlikely entities.  remember when they supported rush limbaugh over the government's attempt to acquire his medical records when the palm beach DA was investigating the possibility rush had been doctor shopping?

What they're doing in Canada and Europe is absolute bullshit. And also, why is it that the only thing in History you can't question without possibly going to jail is the Holocaust? And how is that hateful anyways? Constitutionally protected free speech is set in place to protect that speech which some people may not want to hear. But hey, you know, you can walk away, change the dial, go to another site or complain to an admin..whatever, you know. It's just bullshit what groups like the "human rights commission" are getting away with in the modern zeitgeist/philosophy of "if you don't have anything nice to say..."

Yeah, GN has that "oh, poor me" thing at his disposal. You have to admit, he's pretty good at making people feel sorry for him on some level if he needs to be the victim, because he never argues with anyone. He just agrees with everybody and says nice things about them instead of running a hard-hitting show like Art or Ian. So he can always easily play the victim card. Also, something about his personality just makes him inherently "pityable".

You know what? How many of us bust our butts for our work? work security? We listen to a show like C2C for fun. Then this guy ruins it and makes it awful. Then he boasts about his never ending contract. I swear he's satan in this way.

And considering he makes millions, it's even MORE unfair. So don't feel sorry for him. Feel sorry for the people who kiss his @ss and get no money for it. Even a prostitute gets some cash after.
