Thanks... seems like it's still up for debate, nothing conclusive either way.  I'll be keeping an eye on it.  Scary thing is that this is just one star system that's been identified to throw out such a gamma ray burst upon its death.  Who knows how many stars like it are out there that we don't know about that are also pointing at us?  Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
