Nowhere does it mention controlling human nature. It in fact makes reference to both world wars, but that the allies (of which the USA was on the side of) were in fact the liberal side...That in your view (or the actuality)  the word and philosophy has been hijacked and used to push through a different and wholly diametrically opposed philosophy is not the fault of the original one.

To give an analogy: If I'd sold you your groceries for ten years without an issue, but one day my delivery van was hijacked and the groceries replaced with horse shit, but the interloper spun you a yarn to say he was my new driver, and yes it was still your expected delivery, and you must be believing your lying eyes; who is to blame? Me, because my driver had the misfortune t be hijacked and his load replaced? You, because you can't tell the difference between horse shit and vegetables? Or the hijackers who have skanked us both but sit pretty because they think we won't call foul?

To even compare the true meaning of liberal with the Bolsheviks and Nazism is an obscene and frankly offensive disconnect. The late Winston Churchill, the leader of the British government in WW2 was a liberal in philosophy (and party before he joined the Conservatives, Did you know that?)..He was ideologically dead against Stalin, but fed Stalin intelligence that enabled Stalin to muster his forces to defeat Hitler because of the expediency of war; if Hitler was pre-occupied with and being defeated on the eastern front, he'd be less likely to try again and invade Britain.. But by your definition of liberal, Churchill and indeed Roosevelt were the same as Hitler and Stalin.. I know this has invoked Godwins law, but as it's fundamental to the debate, it has to be put in.

The Affordable Care Act or ACA is a very lengthy law. I am sure it has some problems. But it also has significant benefits to most Americans.

People can't be denied insurance because of preexisting conditions.

It is going to get the government out of the business of reimbursing hospitals for providing care to the uninsured by expanding the number of insured people.

In states that are participating with this act cost of insurance is dropping due to competition between insurance companies, isn't that capitalism?

As it has stood for many years, insurance companies made medical decisions for their subscribers rather than medical professionals... and some of you have the temerity to use the term death panels.
