Want to know why the little man pays too much tax?

Actually, it appears Apple was following the law.  Tax avoidance is completely legal.  If Congress wants to blame someone, it should blame itself for writing such complex laws.

And as the answer to the question in the post title and to paraphrase Lincoln - Because there are so many more of them to loot.

The culprits are politicians Fill, I agree. But the spirit isn't being followed..Apple are one of many. The ground swell will grow, and the little man will sit up because he's sick of having the back of his legs smelling of piss. Then the politicians will need to take notice--not just in the US, but all over the western world.

It's good that congress is having this discussion, and Rand Paul is making some good points.

Of course, lobbyists and other big-money players have a tremendous say in the way bills are written.  It's a pay-for-play situation, and the middle-class, in particular, ends up screwed over.
