Black Eyed Children Meme

Started by awake, May 09, 2013, 07:34:44 AM

awake

I remember last year when a caller first mentioned "Black Eyed Children" to a guest.  My recollection is that the guest had heard similar stories while the host (Noory?) hadn't.  My overriding memory is how thrilled the host was with this new thread of ridiculousness.  Fast forward to the most recent show with this theme and these kids are now potentially demons who reek of sulfur.
Jesus weeps; is nothing beyond reason for this show anymore?  Hollow earth, hole in the arctic/antarctic, UFO's draining Streiber of semen, apartments on Mars, now alien eyed kids of satan who want nothing more than to come visit people; Does it EVER just get too silly? :P
Has this forum ever attempted to "spike" C2C with a Meme of it's own creation?  If not we could certainly come up with one which should touch all the right "hot buttons" and then inject it into the show.  It might be fun craft such a beast and then turn it loose into the C2C wild?  Thoughts?

How about the meme of ignorant, idiotic talk show hosts taking over the night time airwaves?  I could see The Nooron having a guest on C2C to discuss this topic, with Noory being completely oblivious to the fact that it's all about him.

I was fascinated with these stories told on at least two C2C programs but was always highly skeptical. I decided to search the subject on snopes.com. Here's the URL:

Not sure to whom this was directed and can't answer for anyone else but (A.) I do like paranormal and crypto. (B.) The show is a convenient way to keep up on these subjects despite George's handling of the program.

Seems to me this site is dedicated to those who already know everything, hate everything on c2c since 1978, and have nothing interesting or informative to say. Fortunately the 3 members here aren't about to take over the world or get a show of their own.

Yet here you are setting that very example. I can appreciate differing opinions if supported by some evidence. So, please, give us some examples. With the amount of antipathy in your posts, I would expect several examples of insightful, exploratory, and interesting interviewing conversations. I can't wait to hear George masterfully guiding conversations. Expertly maneuvering guests to explain their subjects with clarity unknown before noory takes the microphone. Take your time presenting your evidence.

I await with anticipation.

The thing is, most reasonable people will listen to anyone; including those with contrary opinions. Who knows; they may even reach common ground or it may in fact make them revisit their opinions and change them. The caveat there is evidence to support that opinion, it's more useful and supportive if that initial evidence can be independently supported, but still be open to further change/reinforcement at a later date.

It isn't about hating; I've never knowingly hated anything. It involves too much emotional energy. However, anyone who is in the public domain, broadcasting on a publicly available radio network should be open to scrutiny whether or not the audience agrees or not. The problem when unchallenged opinions are put forward and presented as fact, is it makes the concept of information a nonsense.

To give an analogy; if someone is guest on TV and the host panders to their vanity unquestioning; at what stage does the guest's delusions become dangerous? A fifteen year old girl committed suicide because she was convinced that last december the Earth would be smashed to pieces by a fictitious planet called Nibiru..No-one, her family, friends, school teachers could persuade her that it was anything other than the rantings of deluded conspiracy theorists..C2C was party to that; it was aired years before that this would happen by guests who oddly don't know everything. The scandal is that not one has come forward to express their sorrow at this girl's suicide... What say you?

Be careful what you wish for: At least one member here is regular guest on radi shows..the difference being, he has those pesky things like qualifications that support what it is he's talking about. More than can be said for Hoagland..'Science advisor'? Ha...if he's a science advisor I'm Chuck Yeager's instructor.

I once worked at a TV station with a weatherman who was from the UK.  He interviewed Chuck Yeager (about 1995) and Yeager said that he hated Brits.
Maybe we now know why. Ha.

It's a hell of a burden to carry the burden of 70 million others.  :-\

But fortunately mr Yeager and myself have never met, so I can't claim to be his instructor; which is unlikely as he broke the sound barrier long before I was born.

Like the way you've been showing up on Coastgab since March 8, 1451 to whine about us not liking your heroes enough.
