Len Kasten

Mr. Hanky

I checked the C2C website this evening to see who the guest was tonight and saw that it was some UFO researcher by the name of Len Kasten. I never heard of him, so I clicked on his website (http://www.et-secrethistory.com/). It is a typical cheesy website that looks like it was designed in 1992. Of course any author writing about serious UFO research will also have a picture of the Star Trek Enterprise on the top left hand corner of his website, correct? Anyway, the most amusing claims he makes on his main page of the website in regards to alien and UFO Secrecy are:

"Aliens gave Hitler a cloned army of stormtroopers?" -- Think this guy had seen Star Wars before?
"Nikola Tesla had "offf-planet" friends?" -- Notice how he has off misspelled on his homepage, of all places.
"WWII was an extraterrestrial battle?"  --  Saving Private Valiant Thor, perhaps?
"We invaded Iraq to get control of a stargate?" -- This sounds like a job for Colonel Jack O'Neil.

This guy seems to make Hoagland look like a true academic with his claims. Could it be that this Len Kasten is the biggest turd of all frauds that have ever been on C2C?

Juan

Hey, at least it's the TOS Enterprise.  And the cloud field background image is a change from the usual star field.

Sometimes I feel sorry for these characters. I think that, in some cases, they're not outright frauds but deluded enough to believe their own BS. I'm "pro-phnomenon" when there's enough evidence there but these folks continue to give UFO research a bad name.

I am in the same camp you are. I am also a pro-UFO believer. I have been interested in the subject since I was a kid. However, when C2C has a guy like this on their show that makes such obvious BS claims well passing the nline of absurd, it has to be questioned. I don't feel sorry for this Kasten guy at all even if he believes this nonsense (which I doubt anyway) because the guy is selling books and profiting on this crap.

I listened to the Kasten interview for about 30 mins last night and turned it off because he was obviously making stuff up throughout the interview. Noory would ask the guy basic questions about the "Aliens" and Kasten had lenghty pauses and couldn't even answer the questions with any sort of conviction.

I found it interesting that Len last night reported the "ebens" could travel from earth to their Serpo planet (in the Zeta Reticuli binary star system) about 39 light-years, in only 9 months.
According to my calculations, thats about at Warp 4 for the Starship Enterprise, so maybe they have technology like the Warp 5 engine used on Capt Archer's ship?
There was a classic early 1960's B&W Outer Limits TV episode that had aliens they called "ebens" too...

Morgus, I was no fan of Kasten last night. I posted my reasons in the "George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium" thread as to why.
