I bet they end up with a lot of philosophy (none new) and a whole frikken bunch of theology and very little science (again none new).


It is private funding so who cares? Well I don't know if I care all that much, I do know it annoys the fuck out of me when there are so many issues where that kind of funding would be very beneficial. Giving that kind of money so some preacher at some funeral in 6 months has some new superficial insight...

If people wanted immortality they should fund research into preventing the shortening/stability of chromatid's telomeres. This is too bad. All that money gone.
