The Face on Mars

It's not a hugely common topic on C2C, but I found over 30 hrs of it in my ~20-year archive of episodes (211.3 GB at last count!).  It's such a monumental topic (ha!) that I'm splitting it into two podcast episodes.

Episode 59, The Face on Mars, Part 1 was released last night.  With 8 C2C clips, most of them Hoagland.  Part 2 due out next Tuesday and will cover more of the conspiratorial mindset and other alleged faces (remember those guys from the Cydonia Institute, or the guy who said Mars was Murdered?).

Found part one informative, and nicely explained for the layman. It's just a shame/scandalous/irritating to the nth degree (Delete as applicable) that Hoagland and his buddies can't/won't excercise similar critical thinking and scientific principles...butthen, if/they did, they wouldn't sell as many books/dvd's and have a ready audience on C2C...As the Jam said 'The public get what the public want/ the public want what the public get'... If he starts introducing facts and science it would be feeding caviar to pigs.

Another well done podcast.   It's sad that we have gone from the Face, which was entertaining in a speculative fiction kind of way, to Martian apartments, which is just annoying.  The Face was the original and given its iconic status it is certainly worth at least two podcasts.

I am looking forward to the second part because what people see in the Face (and what they do with it) is at this point more interesting than what is - or is not - there.

Second part is being finished right now in terms of writing it (yes, I wrote part of it last week before the 1st came out based on extra material, but I didn't finish it).  The conspiracy stuff is going to be material from Nick Redfern, I'm going to talk about Mark Carlotto's work, and then talk about other faces people have thought they've seen found.
