MV/Liberace!

when i'm at the office, i usually listen to limbaugh through the KFI live stream because our local affiliate is insufferable.  after rush, they have this guy named bill carroll who comes on for 3 hours and proceeds to bore the shit out of me.  WOW is this guy awful.  anyone heard him before?  and am i alone in my observations?  he is audio melatonin.  how he keeps this job on such a major station is beyond me.  either he's performing oral favors for someone or he has the dirt on who is.  i see no other explanation for how he's kept his job.

I thought Hannity was default/ auto show after Limbaugh.

As to Bill Carroll, that's no good. I'm sick of crappy radio. KFI should clean up starting with giving George Noory the boot.

Oh yes, KFI's other Bill.  He's ok, but I know what you mean about being "audio melatonin".  That station's golden boy is certainly Bill Handel, who IMO is one of the most entertaining radio personalities on air.  Ever hear Handel's legal call-in show "Handel on the law"?  Excellent "marginal legal advice".  It was actually a lot funnier before he got on anti-anxiety medication.

yes, handel is an amazing host.  i could listen to him for hours, particularly his legal show.  great stuff.  had no idea he's on psychotropics.  i always think it's a shame when people can't find a way around that.

Yeah, I hear you.  I'm not 100% sure what meds, or even if it's 100% true, but I definitely recall some of his "handel on the law" banter from a few years ago talking about some kind of medication he was taking so he wouldn't explode on callers quite so violently.  I think he even said Robin Bertolucci made him take it, or something.  Of course, it could've been a joke, but I could have sworn that he really was calmer from then on out.  Right before that, he was engaging in full-on, insult laden, one-way shout downs when people had no case.  I kind of miss his old show.  :P

HorrorRetro

I loved Handel on the Law.  We used to get it only on Sundays when we lived in Oklahoma. We'd go for drives in the wild life refuge listening to that show.  Good times.
