Favorite Radio Talk Show Hosts

For me there are two talk show hosts I really like. Joe Pagliarulo (Joe "Pags"), who broadcasts out of Houston and Rush Limbaugh broadcasting out of Florida.

Glenn Beck used to be atop my list until his success went to his head in my opinion. I get the impression he is beginning to feel like a modern day John the Baptist and behaves as though he is on one of those endless Mormon missions. I do believe he is a benevolent and genuine man who actually practices what he preaches. My complaint about him is there is too much biblical innuendo in his conversation.

Joe "Pags" is a non nonsense host. He makes no bones about his beliefs and doesn't spare the rod when it is deserved. Anyone who had him as an adversary in an argument or debate at any level would be severely tested. He isn't fancy but can hold his own and force others to show their cards. If there are holes in an argument being made to him, he will identify them and nail his opponent.

Limbaugh needs no explanation. The Progressive Socialist Democrats, currently running this nation, have identified him by name and refer to him frequently in their conversation with the American public through their Ministry of Propaganda (the main stream media).

your analysis of beck is dead on.

I've only heard Pags when he subs for Beck, and he is a straightforward, no-nonsense guy, but if his own show is anything like his appearances on Beck's, it must be called Abortion Today. We get it, you're pro-life. Let it go.

I completely agree with the assessment of Beck above.

My favorites are Rush (listening since '91 or so), Michael Medved, and Mark Davis of WBAP.  For comedy and cultural issues, no one beats Hendrie, even now.

I just saw that Mark Davis is no longer on WBAP.  That's a shock.  He does fill in for Rush occasionally though.

I frankly miss Drudge.. Drudge also had some great Art Bell segways back in the early 2000s

Absolutely.  I never missed his show.  Can't really stand his replacement, Bill Cunningham.  To me, Cunningham is the Noory to Drudge's Bell.
