choices he made, he is admitting his mistakes, but also ,yes, he is talking about few bad cards he got dealt in his life, esp when he was child, rejected by his family and by foster family (I think 2 or 3 of them).

you just not understanding how life could twist and turn into path of pain and sorrow, yes, that could be part of past life's Karma, could be part of present life Karma of our own creation, or could be part of hellish life that others created for us, or could be mixture of all of those aspects,..and because is 20 years old story that makes not difference in reality of pain,..pain has no concept of time,
we do...pain doesn't.

I guess when you go through of similar experiences only then you will have understanding
and perhaps compassion for pains of others.

   Thank you for the reply. I thought someday I would be able to explain to you what happened, and show you the accompanying documentation. I wish it was simple, and concise... but the legal system is juxtaposed to that wish.
   I can appreciate that it may not feel like you blacklisted me, too you. From over here what was heard was "No credible journalist should speak to Mr. Fidget, until everyone has their fidgets", and I have been unable to speak with one ever since. It feels like having been blacklisted to me. I can appreciate that it may have simply felt like an offhand comment to you.
   By the time the legal quagmire unfolded it was late 1999. The stigma associated with being "That guy who scammed Art Bell's listeners" never has been revisited. You asked me on the air "why would they write 1970", so obviously it was a concern for me then, and even more so as the truth was continually obscured by legal trickery for the coming years. It is sad that this whole screwed up story is the lot of my life.

ignorance latter.

No, I don't have to see ..."through someones anonymous avatar, through the internet,  through their screen, through their eyes" ...very simple way you can make that "judgemenet"  is by using
common sense, you see - everybody's  life follows cookie cutter like pattern, just different
elements in respect to circumstances, -just like baking a cake, basic ingredients are the same,
but some ingredients are very specific to a particular taste of that cake.

EVERY body hurts emotionally, some less others more, some earlier in life others latter,
there are many "different sources" of emotional hurt, ...you can easy spot that in others, not even looking at them ,just by listening to them, by reading what and how they present their story,
their life story,...that's all

   On one side, Art Bell... and DMDN. On the other Clear Channel... and the almighty Coast to Coast AM. In the middle... Mr. Fidget. If either two of these players had the follow through to investigate my situation, either could have easily turned it into a big payday.

Neither did.

   My Fidget has been called a "Time Machine", and one does pass time while playing with it. On the DMDN side, they have no cool little low cost business premium to give to their "Time Travelers". On the Clear Channel side, they have the Streamlink. What an epic situation.

   Radio has always used "live location promotion" as a value add for their advertisers, and fidget giveaways could build the listener base of either. And unlike a bumper sticker, fidgets are interactive... transferable... and fun.

If one of these two players took the initiative...

vise advice here .. , but = at least Mr.Fidget was desiring to get closure, to deal with it,....
how many people go through life's emotional pains, but they give up on resolving issues ,
they just give up, use booze or drugs or violence or other shitty approach to numb that pain,
and die with it still trapped inside.

At least looks that Mr.Fidget cleared at least one of the big pile of his emotional pain, we all can
learn something from his experience, maybe he not only provided it here his posts (that some got irritated with),
but he also provided it example how to seek to resolve , to face, to admit ...
he was, and he is fighting for his peace of mind, ...and that is GREAT !! ,many give up, and are
not even trying to fight.

By messing up, by not sending fidget's, by keeping money, ...he did not kill anyone, yes it was not
proper, not ethical thing to do, he said it he got into hard financial times, when he made the offer to
sell the fidgets he was not planing from the start to 'fuck' people up, - things changed and he used
the money, maybe for food, rent, maybe some for booze, drugs, we don't know for sure, for exactly what,
and how much he spend for particular things,..
but at least he was trying to create something
to give something, it went side ways,...many of us here are guilty to some extend of not following
on our promises to others because we got sudden change of circumstances and we got under pressure
and did not 'deliver'

Don't be so quick to be harsh ,mean, tough judges ...we all are guilty of it in many different ways
specific to our lives ...

on you, and you get into harsh emotional ,physical turmoil, ..remember not to ask for help,
remember to be as tough on your self as you are on others, ...there is a song by Willy Nelson
lyrics say,..."suffer in silence" - but it is very hard on your own, it is much easier when
we have others to help us.

But you ACE of CLUBS , you make sure you suffer alone, don't ask for help,
don't ask for forgiveness,
you are not willing to give to others, ...none should be given to you when your time comes
to suffer .... !!!
