I truly have no problem with you. The shows we did were unique and fun. I did not blacklist you, it was a simple matter of people calling who did not get their product so of course I would not have somebody back with a bunch of people complaining that they were not getting what they ordered. It's just that simple. I never had any financial connection with what you were doing in any way. To be honest I can not figure out what your problem is. Perhaps you can explain?

None of you will know who I am because I rarely post.  But I love to come here and read.  I'm an old lady (according to my sons who are also vaguely lovable) and I've been an Art Bell fan since the 90s.  I've been thrilled every time Art came back and bummed every time he left.  But the world keeps spinning and we all have stuff to do and bills to pay.  And the trolls are out there (you know who you are).  The people who really creep me out are the ones who are going to continue to worship at Art's feet no matter what.  He could record one long juicy fart and play it on MITD for three hours every night and they would tune in just to find out if he's coming back.  Oh, wait a minute.  They already have one of those on Coast.  Anyway, all is not lost.  I found out about BellGab from Art's show.  And, yes, he loves you all while you're worshipping and not so much when you're not.  There are some intelligent, creative, special people on this forum.  Some of you are already doing podcasts and I'm listening.  Trolls, you guys should go out and create...write books or something.  Make something special in your lives and bring it to the forum.  Art's not going to be around forever.  Will I be listening to the GabCast with Art?  You bet.  Of course I will.  And I'm a little psychic.  If there's bullshit, I'll be able to smell it from here. And I'll definitely be reading as long as your guys are posting.

i have been debating this very thing..in the end people are going to listen cause it is Art..but to what end aside from hearing his voice again? If calls are taken its gonna be either mindless sucking up or mindless bitching and at the end of it there will be no resolution to all of this

Working my way through today's posts and was stopped by yours, oh trusty trostol. Lots of good points have been made but what you say right at the end is the critical point and the big risk with this Gabcast.

I think if Art sticks pretty much to what he has said up until now, it would still be interesting and significant in the way Sredni points out, but it will also be very frustrating -- for many listening and for many ruminating about the show later on. It might easily turn out to be a failed attempt to put things right with the audience and that's why I said yesterday that Art wouldn't/shouldn't do the show unless he had some change to announce. People aren't happy with the status quo.

If he doesn't bring anything to the party, I'll be disappointed. This is one case where "90% is just showing up" and talking won't cut it, IMO.

I said I would do the Gab Cast and I will, however if it is filled with people attacking my Family or truly foul stuff I won't be there long. I hope this can be done in a adult way and I hope that is not to much to ask. I don't mind hard questions but I do ask that people be civil.
