You hit the nail on the proverbial head GE30542. Ramona had the passion for radio, foresight and brains to purchase KNYE, her Station and did most ALL the ground work for Art. Including Art! For those of us who have been with Art from the early 90's remember Ramona Bell was not one to play around, a power house and straight shooter. When Ramona passed Art lost more than just a wife and we lost the magic that the two of them made together.
Airyn Bell has NO thought about The Kingdom of Nye or could give a crap for those of us who took the Ride for so many years. I'm sure she was a thorn in Art's side a week after he started MITD. If I'm not mistaken Art stated that his girls weren't happy that he wasn't available to them because of the hours it took to handle the show. Can't imagine what it would have been like if Art had to work a 40+ hour a week job.
Art should have made the decision to do what made him happy rather than cowering down. I don't believe Art had enough passion to continue considering how bland the shows were becoming.  I guess there's a season for Everything. We need to say farewell Art, thanks for the time.

When I listen to U7 and hear the way Art talks about Ramona, and his life, etc., it was so evident that they were in it together. She was equally as passionate about the show that he was., it was magic, no doubt about it.

She would listen from the other room, submit questions in real time, (or so it seemed), he referred to her often as  his soul-mate, and it sounded as though he meant it.

Art Bell can really just go fuck himself at this point. I don't care if Heather and he is smashing uglies or not. The show is awful and he's a delusional old man who fucked over a lot of people and pissed on his fans. Now he wants to threaten people because his fee fees got hurt on the internet? Good luck with that old man, you're the one who caused all this and destroyed your legacy. I would love to watch him waste his money chasing trolls. Screw it. I never thought Hollywood types, artists, composers, or radio hosts were much to be admired- except for their output and product. Give a good product and I don't care, with some exceptions- but even then I still like Woody Allen and Polanski movies and Wagner (and worse) so call me a hypocrite. My only fault with Art is not making good shows anymore and, if true, quitting in an odd manner. But whatever. He was great, will still be great in posterity by archives. Others are still around who handled it worse with lawsuit threats and DMCA take-downs but I still like, you-know-who. But only old stuff.

ps: I think MV is hosting this site simply for data-mining and some type of odd psychological study! Considering the postings, musings, attacks, personal attacks, bizarre threads, feuds, etc (it is a FRIGGIN website! But such venom and taking stuff personally. So weird.) A genius MV. I hope your government grant/DARPA/NSA deal makes big (or at least the Google ad portion of that NSA stuff.)
