The slave spirituals are from 4chan /x/, they have a meme going about it. Hoagland's basically pissed off his entire listening base trying to pass off old shows as new, calling the audience useless eaters, repeatedly calling us stupid when he tells guests "this audience won't understand, so you'll have to explain" etc. It's not rocket science, the guy behaves like a complete prick.

Again, none of that excuses Art meddling with Richard's show. No one should be surprised by his childlike behavior, given that he wanted us to call in while Jimmy Church hosted C2C and name drop Art or the brilliant idea to disrupt other shows by promoting Midnight in the Desert after it launched. As MV said before, "the post history comes back to bite people again and again and again."

I wholeheartedly think that if this had been said on the first show with Heather everyone would have welcomed her with open arms. It's so good to hear from you Art - it very much lifts my Christmas spirits, thank you.

The neosporin with pain relief helps with cuts - it definitely dulls the pain and they say it accelerates healing too.  A little UV light each day also helps by killing the bacteria that slow the healing process.  That frickin' drone has some powerful blades; I had no idea they were like little circular saws...yikes.

There are an inordinate number of knuckleheads posting here since this all happened - a certain type of person is just drawn to negative vibes and they feed on it like flies.  I let that stuff singe my eyeballs for nearly a week before I finally realized that most of the rotten business was coming from a handful of people who had no intention of debating anything rationally; they just enjoyed exacerbating a bad situation.  So I just added the worst offenders to the ignore list on my profile and it's like being at a whole new website:  there are still a lot of great people here, and now their posts pop out from the former walls of vitriol on every page.  In fact it's kinda fun - like fishing:  "oh look, another wretched mind to add to my list," lol.  A word to the wise ;

I think your reward is a great gesture and I hope it works.  Beyond restoring your security and happiness, I want to know who's behind this.  It's weird that he/them are so focused on keeping you off the air.  I've never heard of a Hollywood stalker demanding that some star stops acting, for example.  The "lone whackjob" type tends to make things more personal, and this seems to be entirely about your work.  But I'm sure you've speculated ad nauseum about all this already.

This too shall pass.

Merry Christmas Art - I hope your family finds some peace and joy together, despite the nagging concerns of all this.  I'll keep calling in during Heather's show so there's one more friendly voice waiting on the other side of that phone call.  She's a good soul; I want her to have some of the fun you've had on the air - it's not a bad gig when the natives have your back!

Because it was an event occurring some days after the phone call that cast the call into a different light.  And since the phone call threatened to kill him that night, and he hadn't died, I don't think the police would've been interested days later.

Thank you! It is true I have a lot invested and now I don't mean money, I really put my heart and soul in to this and it is heartbreaking in the way it turned out. I wish the best for Heather. At least she has a shot at trying Radio and if it works, and it may well work, it provides a alternative.

As for the situation here we are still very much on edge. I am glad I am here with the Girls.

People ask why I didn't hire a Guard and the answer is I did that before on Coast during a time of serious threats and it was no way to live, very intrusive. I moved here because I love privacy and as you can see it is a double edge sword.

I wrote the long post only to explain those things people were saying that were complete BS. It's been a rough few Weeks. On top of everything else my arm is cut to shreds from that Drone accident. So things are bound to get better because they sure hit bottom. One thing is clear, I am my own worst enemy, I always just say what is on my mind at any given moment. Of course I should have said Heather will fill in till this person is caught or the threat abates but I reacted like a idiot in the emotion of the moment.

When I ask why he mentioned it on the radio show if it wasn't serious, you say that in light of other events, it was clear it was serious.

And when I say, OK, then if it was a big deal, why didn't he also file a report with the cops in addition to talking about it on the radio, and now you insist it wasn't a big deal.

I still think it's likeliest to be someone in the grip of a delusion like the guy who beat up Dan Rather.  I think it has nothing to do with MITD, but w someone who sees this guy go every weeknight into that bldg. & has those big antenna towers, and therefore is responsible for beaming those voices into his head, or doing something else nefarious w radio waves.
