I'm not WOTR, but I was (unfortunately) awake for this. JPW kicked off his 2-hour segment by saying a gravelly voice (Art) had called him and asked if he wanted Carville. If so, he needed to high-tail it out to Nevada and pick him up personally, as Art was not going to pack him up and ship him. JPW couldn't make the trip but sent an emissary, who is keeping Carville in an undisclosed location until such time as he'll take his place at JPW's paranormal museum. Art even wrote up/typed up Carville's history (gag gift from Limbaugh, etc.)

I got the impression Snoory was sort of blindsided by the topic but couldn't really tell JPW not to tell the story. He kind of hemmed and hawed a bit ("Is it okay to tell about this?"), but JPW assured him he had Art's full permission to discuss all details.

Seems Carville was starting to "move around" the house a bit and was scaring the bejesus out of some of Art's family. That's all we got.

you could just feel Noory wincing when Joshua Warren referred to Art Bell several times last night.

Lots of nervous laughter for sure. Along with a quick subject change. Although the fact they had him on may have been an olive branch... As they said, it was 'cleared' with Art to talk about it

Sorry for the late reply... LB has given far more details than I could (as much as it is often on in the background, I don't recall particulars very well.) Spot on about appearing to have been blindsided by it. There were a number of awkward pauses and it did seem to come out of left field.

The only detail that I can really add is that the offer was made that the show might try to help JPW get in touch with Rush to get a little more background info. The offer seemed forced and false. Just prior to making the offer Noory had said something along the lines of it being impossible to get through or get hold of Rush when JPW had said he wished to get a little write up form the sender of the alien.

That's about it. If you can find the clip it is probably worth listening to attempted recovery from what seemed to be an awkward moment.

If Art goes to satellite radio, will he be able keep the iconic opening theme music? It was composed for a 1970s movie soundtrack and Coast just plays it. It wasn't created especially for the show.

And thanks for adding the "get in touch with Rush" details. I'd forgotten about that part. I got the feeling it was done to show Snoory's connections in the broadcast world ("I'm friends with Rush Limbaugh and you're not"), but what do I know?

I am not on FB. Never was gonna join it. But if Art is on it and sending out messages, I will join soon. But I am not going to run out and get Sirrius right now. I will just wait for some kind of announcement with whatever details are known. I started listening on the first show with Ed Dames. May of 1995. Not any live ufo stuff with Noory. kf5iwe

The second time he said stayed tuned. I do believe that is radio talk. LOTS of speculation on here. At this point I think Art is saying he will be on the waves. So, does that mean HAM? Does that mean national? Art is being Art, and doing what Art likes. Making us talk about him. I'm going take an unpopular route. Many people hope Art starts a pod cast. Perhaps he will. I think he will be back to C2C. Why? Because IT IS HIS SHOW. Also, he never retired this time. On hislast show on 10/10, he said until they call my name again. Snoory said Art was winding down, based on I speculate the fact Art never answered his email. Art is C2C. Why, at almost 70, would Art want to start something new? Did Art give up and start a new show after the part retirements? No. I think Art will come back to C2C, on a weekend or every other weekend post. Or I may be crazy

I'd hurry up if I were you. Facebook profiles have a 5000 friend limit and Art is rapidly approaching it. So if you want to be his friend and be "in the know", do it now.

I sure hope there is a pay off to all this patience. I wouldn't fancy Art as being such a dick as to sting along his fanbase on vague "return" implied updates, but I have been known to be wrong before. Hope he comes back though. Fort Rock must be burning through kleenex boxes about now and I don't think he is crying.

I tried adding an AB that showed his photo with Asia and the message said "please only add if you know him personally" or somesuch. Just wondering which AB page you guys are on so I can join the party.

Yeah I agree with Agent Orange : What FB page is AB on? I am now on FB but the only thing I can find is the same pic Orange found. My uncle was a dispatcher for the Mississippi State police and was listening the night AB glued his lips together as was I. I was also listening the night AB fell off of his porch and almost hit the steel stake.

I have a feeling you are right about Art coming back to C2C. But I also think George Snoory will be out. For one thing, according to Snoory, Art hasn't returned his emails. Art must be unhappy with the direction the show has taken under Snoory, etc. So I don't think he would go back to just weekends unless Snoory is replaced by someone good. Does anyone know what the ratings are on weekends vs. weeknights? I would think they would be much higher. I just think Art could have already gone to doing more weekends with George Snoory on the weeknights if he wanted that. So I'll bet big changes will be coming to C2C.

It is rumored that Ashton Cutcher has a 1100 square foot trailer with 8 television sets, a conference room, and many other amenities. We know in the Noory vs. Bell debate who has the most felines.

+1 for me too. My streamlink account came up for renewal not long after AB "quit" coast (coincidentally about the time this thread started) and I didn't renew. Whilst Snoory is at the helm and no Art on C2C they won't get a cent from me.
