I think the reason for no RSS feed is to minimize piracy. Dont know this for a fact, but its the only thing that makes sense to me.

...its not hard to download 3 files and join them into 1.

It's not particularly hard to go to the bookstore either... but amazon.com will bring it right to my door. Adapt (and give the consumer what they really want) or perish. eg: Borders Bookstores, Waldenbooks, Crown Books, Davis-Kidd Booksellers, B. Dalton Bookseller, Encore Books, Kroch's and Brentano's, Media Play, Oxford Bookstore, Atlantic Books...

Oh, stop.  You're tearing my heart out.

Bookstores are fun to browse in.  I shed no tears when corporate chain CD/Music stores shuttered their doors :P :P

Juan

Corporate chain bookstores in malls were a Godsend to those of us in the hinterlands.  Before them, there were only paperback books in drugstores and small, limited stock bookstores downtown that were open only from about 10-5 - unavailable for students or people who had jobs outside of downtown.

And I don't see how Art can still boast at always being on the cutting edge when he has no show podcast and requires a convoluted process to download new and archived shows to ios devices like the iPhone,iPad and iPod.

Just a truly excellent show last night.  Dr. Dvorak should become a regular guest.  Thanks, Art!

He should be Art's Science Advisor!

A definite candidate.  Dr. D' is actually credible.  ;)  He reminded me a little of Kaku.

Just a tremendous show.  I tuned in last night, intending to catch a few minutes but couldn't tear myself away.  Fifteen minutes turned into three hours before I knew it.

It sounds to me like Art is having a hell of a good time.

Thanks Art!

Quit your bitchin . We have Art back.

Have only listened to the first hour so far but Dr. Dvorak is fascinating, one of Art's best guests. I was on the edge of my chair like the first time Evelyn Paglini called in as I recall a listener and I kept wanting to hear more! This guy really knows his stuff.

Yes, that's great, too.  A good time had by all!  Well, except maybe for Dave.  ;D

Oops, wrong thread, never mind.

I'm sure it is a closely guarded secret, but I would love to know what the numbers are saying in terms of live online listeners, Time Travelers and listeners in Portland...I wonder when the next big station will be added!  :D

About the only time I waste any time thinking about Dave is to wonder what he is doing about Art Bell. Whether he listens every night and shouts 'balls' at his computer, or is too listless too give a damn and just gets one of his henchmen to tell him if Art mentions 'the other guy'. I think he would be wise to pay attention because I am sure Art is very keen to eat Dave's lunch.

So, it`s true then that we have permitted access to Art Bell over on your smelly little island kingdom?

Reminder, Art scheduled to be interviewed today by Tom Leykis 4pm PST http://blowmeuptom.com/

Loved last night's guest. You can tell a lot about a person when fielding questions from the audience.

Also enjoyed MV's surprise appearance on BH last night. Informative, and well timed. Pulling for Nancy, hopefully that will move the show along.

Oh my God, look what somebody sent me on Face Book: http://www.rawstory.com/2011/03/exclusive-limbaughs-parent-company-still-using-actors-to-fake-radio-call-ins-exec-tells-raw/

No surprise that a far left leaning liberal website would try to impune conservative talk hosts, without ANY evidence WHATSOEVER....move along, nothing to see here...more a reflection of Premeire and not any of their Hosts...

Although, I can see Dave using this service... :-)

Speak for yourself, devil dog.

When Art picks up on a caller and the caller offers the greeting "ROSWELLS",does anyone else get the feeling that it bothered him?

It's happened a few times where I got the impression that Art was unimpressed with the "ROSWELLs" greeting.

Perhaps that greeting is too Dark Matter, a period of time that Art would sooner forget?

Then I guess he will have to say the 'safe' word and everyone will stop.

Art can be on the cutting edge without his tech team being there with him.

They'll get the RSS feed working eventually or will have to put up with a drop in subs.

Even as a Time Traveler, I still record the show to get the music. That may stop once they get the feed working as it takes precious minutes of my time editing the audio each morning.

I know skunk, I know.  'Precious minutes' for our precious commodity.  Others may scoff and say negative things or wonder at our 'loyalty' to ART, but those minutes are precious.  Those minutes may be our sole buffer against the daily timeline of work, family, masturbation marathons and a bit of sleep fm time to time.
For me, those minutes out of my day could easily be used to down an extra cup of joe and belt of Scotch with my oats.
I know, Skunk.  A little levity fm me, but your point is made with me.

I do not know what rss feed means. I have very little tech abity, but I listen live, as well as to the archives. I feel compelled to add 2 cents to the 5 bucks I've contributed, and say, be grateful for what we have, we have Art frigging Bell back on our "devices".

Just sayin'
