All the while there are phones ringing, chairs squeaking, uncomfortable moments with the guest, and Hoagland just plowing ahead...

The joke about broadcasting from the hold of a ship almost made be puke from laughter! LOL

I think that's a new TV show on CBS

Things are looking up on the eyeball network then.

Jerry Rivers show drove me into Satanism.

Ah, before he became famous.  The bastard.

True. Jerry's success did make Satan truly famous. And worth cutting a deal with

Check out the 'Other Side of Midnight - Richard C Hoagland - Live Chat Thread' under 'Other Podcasts', starting about page 28 it's all there - with commentary.

I think it started off with a caller asking if it was true Cronkite disavowed him, them asked to be his Cultural Advisor.  Next up was some JC-esque caller that Hoagie claimed had been 'stalking' him for 30 years - Richard didn't respond at all, but was unable to disconnect the call.  Then some rambling drunk, then a frustrated Hoagie couldn't get a caller to turn off their device and when they finally did the call dropped, then the stalker called again, then a normal kook or two.

All the while there are phones ringing, chairs squeaking, uncomfortable moments with the guest, and Hoagland just plowing ahead...

Very entertaining, he def picked up some new subscribers..
Thanks PB, I'll definitely check it out.   The only thing I slightly miss from not listening to sNoory is the entertainment of the constant slow moving train wreck that he is.  But not enough to offset the annoyance

Can you please do a show on telomeres and telomerase!?
At this point they have turned back the age of mice at Harvard!

I want to be 18 again!

YES YES YES! I SUPPORT THIS! ;D

So three UFO related shows in a row?  That's kind of cool, actually.  I like Preston Dennett, he's a good writer and researcher, I think this week has been very entertaining so far.  As long as Art is on the air, I'll still listen.  It's always enjoyable.

I agree.  Although the subject does not fascinate me, Art always makes a program interesting.

I would be interested in a show with someone who knows more about the drug influence in the country, about the CIA moving it in, etc.  I heard that drugs are often delivered, now, by drones.

Morgus

Art, please get John Lear back as a guest real soon!

First call of the night was a Bellgabber! Goes from discussing Cronkite to becoming RCH's Cultural Advisor!!    It was a very entertaining show and the live chat thread was amazing!

Hi PB. Thanks again for mentioning Hoagies show.  Just finished the thread.  Lol comedy gold...no,no...platinum!  Yeah I may have to pony up the 5 bucks, but don't like the idea of editing the live show

Jerry Brown even said so, yet he still supports sanctuary cities.
Did he also include sanctuary cities harboring those from New Jersey and Alabama? No more crackers, please

Another UFO guy, Jeez Art, Tell Doc J to give that Rolodex a good spin to someone who KNOWS whats going on in Japan.  We need you to fill in the gaps of the MSM.

Tonight's guest is also a ghost hunter, so hopefully the topic won't be 100 percent UFOs.  That topic is getting a little stale.  Probably just had to grab who they could get after two last minute cancellations for Monday and Tuesday night's shows.

Morgus

Isn't the GIS (EVP group) reportedly scheduled to be on with Art soon?

Art Bell/John Lear is a winning combination for my ears.

Brad Steiger would be a cool guest at some point.

Indeed. He even did a show with Snoory I liked, which is only because Brad is a great talker/storyteller and jorch didn't have to do much interviewing. It was on Atlantis, which is my favorite topic.

Alien Shark Week would be really cool...although "Alien Shark" sounds like an Asylum movie on Syfy.  Syfy-lus, an std carried by bad TV movies.

Art is old.
His fan base is old. The genre is old. He's got nowhere to go but down. Norry already has the idiot crowed sewed up.

Sorry... Gnooryblows is a filthy, hate-mongering pig. No better that Albert Speer, IMHO... didn't mean to offend.

Old people have the money. It always amazes me how easily that is forgotten.

Absolutely...and if retired FREE TIME! However, it sounds like many of the callers into the show are young! I think that is a great sign!

There is old in age and there is old in behavior.  If you listen to Art now, it's like listening to him in the 90's, he still has that same youthful spirit and passion for the genre that he had in the beginning.  As for his fan base, parents pass the show onto their kids and so on.  This is a new medium for an experienced host.  Let Noory stay in the past with the idiot crowd, Art is ascending my friend!
