Keep an eye out for trailer #3 tomorrow morning. I will send it to Art to distribute via FB and artbell.com and then it will no doubt be posted here. It's my favorite one so far.

It's amazing we can communicate at all. I am filled with hope and joy because the days are so long and the fireflies are just starting out. The long summer stretches ahead.

I get anxious and squirreley in the fall, as if I have to can, make candles and potpourri.

Lol, it is amazing we can even communicate with them.

I also get a bit anxious and squirrely in the fall. Football starts in August. :)

Also time to plant the leafy vegetables and deal with the brazen California rabbits.

Good. I have a choice of these fine cities: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney. I will try the combos and see where that half-hour is.

This is how you do detective work, people. I will soon know (Redacted)'s secrets. Bwaa haaa

I will narrow it down for you. My citys name has an "e" in it and it is on the mainland. ;D

So it looks like we can eliminate Wollongong.

Unfortunately it doesn't rule out Mount Buggery or Wonglepong.

Nice link. But apparently Toowoomba isn't considered an unusual place name in Australia, lol.

So you ARE going to do your astrology stuff on the show?

Astrology stuff? Oh my....(Redacted) are you an astrologer? Fess up, girl. I didn't know there were two of us here. Perhaps there's more.

What's your take on the upcoming Jupiter/Venus conjunction? I think it is a most auspicious conjunction for the burgeoning of Art's new show, don't you?

What kind of astrology do you study? And what do you think of the recent four blood moons?

I write daily and weekly horoscopes for tons of newspapers and have been syndicated across the US, UK and Canada. I suppose the biggest newspapers I wrote for were The Toronto Star and The London Daily Telegraph. I am working on a book right now about the mystical and mythological significance of Fixed Stars.

k...I will stop yammering now. Geez...I had no idea you spoke astrologese. So few of us out there.

Art and those here in BellGab has told me we need a donate button for the show, so I have re-instated the Patreon page for the DMRN station. Be assured, the donations made to this page will go towards supporting the cost of bringing and keeping Art on the air! So the URl is:

http://patreon.com/darkmatterdigitalnetwork

These donations are above and beyond your subscriptions to the On-demand / Archives of Midnight in the Desert, which should be available within a week. I hope to have the new subscription website available by June 20th.

Keith is there any way to donate a one off donation through this method rather than monthly?

k-rowland

I did not see a one time donation option on Patreon... I selected a monthy option. Do you think I should elect a one tine donation instead? Maybe I can change it.

I guess, you could donate to my Dark Matter PayPal account directly ---

paypalacct@rowlandnet.com

which is directly dedicated to the operational expenses of my online expenses and Art's return.

Was thinking about MITD as the abbreviation and wondered about 'Midnight Desert.'  Just a thought.

Generally, I'm not a fan of monthly recurring payments. Art and MITD is definitely an exception to that rule. I prefer one off donations. Recurring a yearly payments with a timely reminder that a repayment is occurring with an option to opt out is my personal preference. I'm sure I won't be opting out. I'm all in.  ;)

BTW - I just donated through PayPal. Good luck with this. May this venture be extremely successful. I will be listening.

Trailer 2 was so good.  I thought of The Walking Dead.  Can't wait for 3.  I can't find 2 though does anyone know what page its on?  Haha hi Jazmunda do you know where  your first one is?

k-rowland

Thank you very much Andy for your donation, it will help very much in paying our first month music licensing deposit and bandwidth charges.

I will try to make a one time donation button on the site.

I agree with the recurring monthly payment; don't like it either.  How about a six-month payment that would cost more pain twice in the year than a one time yearly payment?

Just to be clear I was referring to additional donations in regards to monthly payments and not the subscriptions.

Having said that if it can be achieved then the subscriptions should have the option to pay monthly or  yearly. Just my 2 cents. I don't want to create extra work.

My pleasure.

Art has provided me with hours of entertainment since 1996. Even during the years Art was not on air I listened to classic shows in the car to help me get through the commute to and from work.

I also want to personally thank you for bringing that interactive element to Art's show. artbell.com was a fantastic companion to the nightly shows with you providing timely links and photos. No other radio shows at the time used the web in this way.

Hearing about the set up I really appreciate the hard work you have done to bring Art back and I just wanted to do my part to contribute and say thank you for the entertainment you guys have provided over the years.

Good luck with this venture and I will be listening.

Okay.  Thanks. I didn't read through enough posts.  I didn't mean pain to pay twice a year it should have said paying, as I was thinking about for Art's show, where a membership can be paid yearly for less than a 6 month fee twice in a year.  I thought I paid that way with C2C when it was Art's gig, ah me, so many years ago!  I can't wait!

I also meant to ask where the first trailer is as I did end up saying and I meant to say the second trailer reminded me of Z-Nation not The walking Dead.  Phew.

I also think 70 is quite young and getting there happens too quickly!  No matter what your age it's about how you feel in your mind first, which never loses the young feeling.  What people can or can't do physically is the biggest problem for anybody at any age.  There has been a lot of longevity in my family with a lot of things old and new continuing or beginning for many into their 80's.  Especially traveling! Tons of rockers are older than 70 and still rockin it.  Phew again.

Canned Heat

And YES a donate button 😃😆😁😊😋😍

And Keith your avatar does have two of the letters in MITD - cool
Could be reversed for Midnight Desert 😉

All the trailers that you and Rossy have done are wonderful. Wish I had the talent to contribute  ;) I have posted all of them on Alien Dreams for some more exposure. Hope you guys don't mind. Such good work for such a good cause needs to be shared. I think both my readers  saw them lol. or is it 3? I can never remember.  And another vote for the donate button.!
Can you imagine the promotions going on when the doors open July 4th?
