Oh please, The IPhone is simply trouble free. Apple does a much better job of vetting the Apps that are available, there is no good argument against that. Android is also ok but if your going to place your digital life inside something I would opt for the safer one. Just my opinion.

Agree having only owned Apple products. Hard to screw the pooch with their devices. Now Microsoft giving away Windows 10? I expect total infiltration of a Chinese/Russian/NSA virus if I decide to transition to it on my PC.  ;)

It's not called "selling out" when a person opts for the better product. Art's right, if you are going to put your entire life into a devise, I only trust Apple.

You're so right. It's all about how you value your time. I don't want to worry about do I need a anti virus program on my phone because some wonky app on the android App Store could be hacking my phone. I also don't need to be able to program or do other behind the curtains things that most android users love to talk about when it comes to the freedom pitch.

I like my iPhone 6, because it works great all the time every time. Everything has been thought out and tested and if you have all  products, which I do. They all work seamlessly together. From handoff to AirPlay mirroring through the Apple TV. It all just works beautifully.

Please keep believing that. Preach loudly to anyone who will listen how amazing and safe Apple products are above the other products out there. Then pray that Apple doesn't gain a larger market share. Security through obscurity, isn't really security.

Please rebuff my post as poppycock and shred it to bits. Anonymous-chans will be most appreciative.

Any electronic device connected to the web safe... oh the LULZ.

No where did I state that am iPhone or an apple product is any safer than any other product. They all have vulnerabilities and can and will be taken advantage of.

Here is exactly what I mean. Their products work for me in how I use them on a daily basis. They fit my lifestyle. That doesn't mean they fit yours. That doesn't mean they are a walled garden safe from all troubles.

But please, find me a device that works great and is completely secure from all and every forms of attacks, eavesdropping, and tracking. Please. Do it.

And then take five minutes to read a bit more about the "fappening" and find out just how sophisticated some of the attacks were, there was a lot of social engineering and just plain common sense things that people didn't do to protect themselves.

I don't assume it, I know it's being monitored.

Anyone else calling Art's number hoping to jump the gun? It's busy, although I got it to ring through once, to no avail.

Hahaha!!!! You think banking face to face does anything to keep the government from knowing how you spend your money or what you do??? Unless you don't use a debit card, credit card, use only cash and barter with gold nuggets. Then maybe just maybe you wouldn't be tracked much. But that's not accounting for the facial recognition software that are in most camera systems now around the country,,traffic cameras which read your license plate and take your photos, etc.

Please keep towing the Apple company line about how how ALL The Fappening happened. As it seems you only took the time to read Apples response.

You also seemed to not read this line in my original post.

Haha no. I'm not an idiot or a fanboy. If Apple products stop working for me then I'll make a switch. The only allegiance I hold is to what works best for me.

I always wait three months after a new phone comes out until I decide if I want it and just to make sure there aren't any major issues. Then I walk into whatever store is the most convenient buy it at full price and walk right out. Then I sell my previous phone unlocked to the highest bidder. Basically, I pay maybe $80 on average with a screen protector when getting a new phone. Just depends on what the market is for the phone I want to sell. Capitalism is a great thing.
I just wait until my service plan is up then upgrade. But I'm weird like that. Can we still call art? I'll call art on my iPhone 6.  8)

k....Art has given me full permission to go after the Canadian audience. So, I shall now start a groundswell of 'tasty Canadians' (his term) with large ears to listen intrepidly to the show. I reassured Art that I could, indeed, roll a cigarette with my mittens on and therefore am fully qualified. I will do my very best to get him on many radio stations up here.

Tis now a mission.

I own android devices and windows computers also. I just don't use them as frequently in my line of work (video editing and writing, etc.) that's how they fit my lifestyle. But yeah, try being a freelance video editor and showing up to a job without a MacBook Pro and see how many phone calls you get for future jobs....again I use the tools that work best for my lifestyle which revolves around my line of work. I guess that makes me a company man then wtf ever.
