Agreed.  A one on one interview is where you shine.  Since it is out and everyone knows, I might as well say how I truly feel, and just let the shrapnel fly.  This is a unique and extraordinary honor.  I am shocked, delighted, and grateful beyond measure.

I think you're absolutely right about being allowed to say only those things that meet with the approval of the fascist thieves, thugs, and lunatics in control of the society and culture on both a micro and macro level. Nonetheless, You must obey....You will be assimilated into the collective. It won't hurt too much according to 7 of 9....and 7 of 9 wouldn't lie about something like that. I kind of agree with a previous poster on the "Morning/Evening Zoo" comment. As great as Bell Gab is for the diehard Art Bell fans, I believe Bellgab makes up less than one half of one percent of the listening audience. I would take to guess that the majority of the listeners want Art Bell back and not some collaborative effort.

It could be that since I'm married I'm not interested in the innuendo-laced flirty female sidekick. Especially half the age of the host. I have two grandfathers who swoon over younger ladies. If I wanted to see that I could just go stand in line at Walgreen's. The pickup lines are in abundance.

I also only speak on the one recent podcast I listened to to get my data. My apologies in advance if I'm way off mark.

The "Bellgab vs Noory" and "Bellgabber vs Bellgabber" is good traction for this website but I hope it doesn't spill out to the actual show.


I did want to send one additional note, I called a local talk radio Station here in Northern California to do my part in spreading the word. The person I spoke to said (for the sake of argument I'll claim to paraphrase it, but it could be a direct quote")

"I love Art Bell. I also love my job. We would have to break current ties with a long running program in that time slot. I would be worried constantly about Art's 'back'."

What I took from that is not a "no". Some stations are ready to jump on board, and maybe some of the bigger stations either have contractual obligations of their own or maybe want to see the waters tested first before jumping in themselves.

Again, no offense to Redacted, she plays a great role on this site. Can't see Art as an on-air duo.

I don't ever remember him saying that he wanted to share the mic with a co-host.
The impression I got, from the very first mention, was an "occasional" spot on open lines. No co-host will be helping Art interview Howard Bloom, or RCH. I think people who fear Art is killing the show by having a "co-host" are over reacting.
I would imagine 1 or 2 appearances per month.

I'm nuts of course, but knew the tension was there between them and have been baiting them hard recently, to get it out in the open.
