It is real, as far as I can tell. Rob, a member of coastgab here, and a friend of Art's in the Philippines took this for the "People who miss Art Bell" facebook page. This is the same guy who debunked the fake "Arthur W Bell III" facebook profile, discrediting the announcement, and effectively ending all the misinformation. Thanks Rob!

Art looks amazing, and very fulfilled. For some reason this picture drives home the fact that he will not return to the air (at least to me). He is happy, and deservedly so. Art owes nothing and is happy living his life in the 'pines with his family, and that makes me happy for him.

I have ten days of and stuck in bed due to knee surgery. Too buzzed on pain meds to read, so I am going to start a podcast, think I will call it Coast Guard. The plan is to record the cast on Sunday after listening to the coast shows during the week. The idea behind the cast is to offer a fair and objective review of the show.

I just listened to the shroud episode and want to yank my teeth out with rusty pliers. What I need is a good, classic Art Bell show to listen to. It has to be one on coast insider as I dont have an archive. Any suggestions? I already did the first Michio Kaku show. That was great. I have to wash Noory out of my head before I record tomorrow. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oh he's coming back..maybe not tomorrow, but eventually. Art's still a young enough man, don't know about his back though..

But thats my prediction. I will have to call the C2C annual prediction show next year and put that in the vault. Because I would guess by 2012 or 13.

I heard it as "Your-O Gurgurgian" the first time and then he screwed it up a second time. If Snoory has issues to where he can't pronounce shit the way it's supposed to be, then he needs to step down or go to speech classes. He has turned C2C into a total Farce and continues to do so. Yes the Gargarin name foul up really pissed me off!

What I fear is that if he did replace Noory, current C2C fans would stop listening. I think the show has a whole new fan base after 5 years of dumbed down talk.. I think a whole new show is in order.. Maybe instead of Coast to Coast it could be 'Midnight in the Desert with Art Bell' .. Bring back the mystery and magnificence of the night again..
