yep Noory and his staff still use Art Bell bumper music at most of their breaks.
the only stuff Noory added was the dumb stuff, like his UFO Phil ending song on Friday nights and breaking the guests and open lines on Fridays up into smaller chunks like one or two hours instead of a full 4 hours!
UFO Phil? UFO filler.

The purely token "open lines" that happen now are insulting. Mostly staged callers and lobotomy patients. It's too safe. You never get the feeling that anything can happen, you get the feeling that the script is going along according to plan.

All business is cut-throat. But just trying to copy something for over a Decade gets old in more ways then one. I guess they will now shut down all the other sites doing the same thing or that would be unequal enforcement, right? People might start to think it was just because U7 was mentioned here.

Oh let's not forget 2hrs spent on politics on halloween, 5 predictions in the prediction show, more commercial content, screened calls, etc.
riveting radio. riveting.

Question: when did Coast make the jump from CBC to Premier?

Also. Yeah some KDWN stuff wohld be great also.  Lol.
The earliest Coast I have heard was from 1994. John Lear and Bob Lazar.  Lots of interference though and hard to make out what they were saying at times.

I love unscreened open lines, sooo many good shows came from them, some of the best moments on Coast came from them. I think my first show in July will be all open lines.

Is Jaz allowed to call?

I'm begging for an antichrist line, but I also enjoyed the open line calls on diverse topics such as the lines for the ladies room or naturally, ghost stories. You never know what you're going to get, but for me, the antichrist line was the pinnacle.

I imagine they will attempt to shut down all the streams they can find.  They may not be able to find them all.  And, thank you, point well taken.

The open lines that sticks in my mind was the one from 1996. It had a story about a gopher sucking machine. Would suck them right up into a large bag and then deposit them elsewhere.  Haha.  Also had a Canadian tabloid accusing Art of hiding saucer parts.  THE NERVE!

Of course they won't be able to find them all, it's like playing whack-a-mole. But this is what they choose to spend their time on.

That was 1992.

...and, on the other side of Bellgab, the GNS thread is about to turn a page, to 2000.

Checking into it, man there were a LOT of shows before they bought it. I see Dave has not logged in since Feb 11 but you can be sure he is here under another name as is Lisa and I bet Tom as well. They read every word, right guys?

Reading is above their intelligence grade. I imagine that someone hands them cue cards with lovely pictures on them.

George never would say if he'd seen the Eye Pad thread.  ;D

Being able to have see this type of interaction with fans makes me happy to be such an AB nerd. Thanks Art!

There was an open lines show on a night where there was major storms in the st. Louis area. I remember this cause it was the first c2c show I ever heard and art talked about these storms with a couple callers. I really wish I could find this show. Does anyone remember when this was? If it helps, it was one of the nights that JC called in.

To know that July cannot be touched by anyone but Art makes my day. Art unencumbered. It will be brilliant. A free Art Bell indeed.

The Earth might come to an end if they spent some time creating a quality product.

I would but I'm busy fixing flood damage in my home in Hawaii. The typhoon in Vietnam caused my basement to flood.

Well I did a video telling about it and George is asking ME why I haven't sai anything about pirating his shows or Art's. So I told him I have copies of Art's shows and CTC's programs on my devices too. I listen to C2C for one's I miss then erase them unlike they're so bad I can't listen any more.
Some nights I can't sleep or my knee, ankle hurt so much I'm screaming or at least in a lot of pain and have paid for streamlink and will again in the future. If it weren't for listening some nights I'd go mad without something to help me forget about the pain. Falling last year really did a number on both of my legs.
When Art comes back I will pay for his show as well.
Noory doesn't seem to understand that people CRAVE Art Bell shows and would rather listen to one old AB show than a 1,000 C2C. Except for Knapp.
Had a minor miracle happen today. Walked into the DMV, got number & was seen, paid for registration and out in 3-5 minutes. Usually takes hours. Never happened before.
Sorry the evil Premrat screwed up U7 for all. I hope Premrat & I heart go bankrupt.
Though I would miss listening to Rush, Levin, Savage and Pirates, Steelers and SF Giants games.
Videos tonight if my knee feels better.
