I thought, for a moment, she might BE, Art's stalker... but she's a much better shot, than that.  ;)

:P

Have you tried regular Palmolive?

I too have gotten rxns to certain soap products.  Safeguard made my hands sore.  I'm interested in seeing if the offending ingredients can be nailed down.  Irish Spring & Palmolive present an opp'ty because they're slightly different versions of the same product.
Tell her about your soap that won't hurt your hoo hoo Bob.

You know the debate is getting old when we are down to your mom statements.

Actually, it's not a big secret that before 1996, Art's show leaned heavily in the direction of widespread government conspiracies, the Freemen, the militias, etc.

A lot of William Cooper Behold a Pale Horse type of stuff.   There was some paranormal, too, but there was a lot of the conspiracy stuff.

That changed after the OKC bombing, and the government and media started talking about the "climate of hate" being fostered by right wing talk radio.

After that, Art's show became a whole lot more focused on the paranormal, with hardly anytime for government conspiracy stuff, except for UFOs and Area 51.

At least that's how I understand it.  I could be wrong.

Yes I loved the William Cooper stuff in the 90s.

Ross, was on a phone call with his mother. He didn't pick up a call from Hoagland. Hoagland upon contacting Ross, stated Ross' life was no longer his own, and that he was indebted to Hoagland. Ross told him to piss off. A much less aggressive response than I would have offered.

What is wrong with you? How many times has Ross asked to drop this?!?!

Ross has never made a public statement about what you are writing. What don't you get about what Ross has asked numerous times?

Actually your use was an effective response to a similar argument.  I was just pointing out that this bickering is pointless.  You still remain safely at 2+ standard deviations.   ;)

All debate and conversation is essentially pointless for the most part. Especially over something like this.

However, I know Ive had my opinion changed many times during internet debate since I personally try not to be bias to my own beliefs and try to look into whatever new information is presented.

If I'm proven wrong or if the pendulum  beginning to swing that way- I'll be the first to admit it. And I've been wrong about many things and probably am still wrong about many beliefs I hold dear.

But yes- essentially any conversation abut any of this is pointless. In the same way "George noory Sucks" conversation is pointless.

But it kills time.

Frankly, I doubt that very much.  :o

But I do think some people will find the forum boring after I leave.

You keep saying you are leaving... please do so. And sooner than later. Thanks.

I hope you've enjoyed you time in the bigs here. Maybe someday you'll get another contract to post here :) There's nothing to match getting to the show is there?

You're too hard on yourself.

I'm sure many people have been on here longer than that and have gone on to become productive citizens.

Not meant to be patronizing at all because I actually agree with some of the points. It is just the juxtaposition of it.

I believe lying for $ to be de rigeur in b'casting.  For instance, although I believe his endorsement of the infrared laser device for his bad back, I believe him to be quite glib when he says, "You name it, it'll fix it."  How could he possibly know that?  Yet this is standard with on-air voices.

I've written phony endorsements under phony names for $ myself.  I can hook you up w a guy in China who'll hire you to crank them out similarly for whatever service or product, but you'll burn out fast, because there's only so many ways you can say the same thing, and it's not like it pays much.

It's also pretty well known that success in sales requires lying.  You have to lie well enough about things subtle enough that people can't tell you're lying even after they've made the purchase.

I think what made the difference in my getting my teaching gig was lying about my experience on my resume.  I added experience that would've been nearly impossible to check up on.

Someone wrote in response to me here IIRC that Mr. Bell's sincere choice to replace him was Ian Punnett.  That pick I can agree with.

There are degrees of dishonesty and truthiness in the world and many fall well short of outright lying. (Paid endorsements are in a category of their own.) I make a motion that we stop all this "it's either the truth or it's a lie" stuff. There are plenty of grays (not talking about aliens) in-between the black and white. Get used to it or you will dig yourself an early grave.

Prove it. I don't see any signs of it. Which makes me wonder why you felt so compelled to post here. But as you say, you will be taking your leave soon. Please feel free to toddle off.
