I'm not angry with you at all. I will do the same but I don't think it's what he's doing. The problem Rowland and Co. have with Dark Matter network is that it was built on a promise Art would return in two years. I can see Art broadcasting less time or 4 days a week or changing the format. I'm proud of Art for not going over to the dark side (largely). He heard the blow back instantly from having the defense contractor on 3 days into his new show so he is avoiding guests like that so I'm pretty happy with the way it's been going. At the end of the day, these guys have an investment - all of them do and they aren't doing it for my $5.00 a month. Whatever it is, I am certain it is about generating more revenue.

I am hoping the news is that Art is going back to Coast to Coast AM with some kind of agreement for less commercials. While i do listen to Midnight in the Desert on my Ccrane WIFI radio, i do miss listening via a terrestrial radio.  Something about the clicks and clacks, fade in fade out, gives it a real atmosphere.

We're working for an app for that. It fades out under bridges, hums if you get near a power line or computer and gives a nice buzz sound during thunderstorms

I'm with you. My $5/month is strictly a show of support and a thank you to Art for the years of enjoyment I got from listening to him late nights all those years. Art goes, so does my $5.

Having said that, I don't think he'd have set up whatever the new FB page is to retire.

If he does retire, we blame Jazmunda right?

Ohh, he's just keeping the energy up!  I take Art at his word, he's just taking a night off.  I don't think he's cutting back to 4 nights, that doesn't sound to me like taking the show to a new level.  And yes, I agree with those who think the ones who will be shocked are those of toast to toast. Sure is nice hearing Art again.

Art needs to get beyond "this is an experiment" mode and avoid making the audience feel uneasy about the future of the show.  Why would I want to pay for access to the show if I am twisting in the wind waiting for kryptic answers to kryptic statements.

Well....while we all mire in the mud over here, the replay tonight is Nassim Haramein....which is simply awesome.  That was my favourite show so far....along with all the others 

Nassim's interview was so jam packed with amazing stuff, I am glad to be able to hear it again tonight.

Maybe corporate leaders at iHate stepped out of their mist tunnels and are going to make some changes.....? I doubt it but....?

I'm with you on this! However, he said there was "a big announcement" in two weeks this past Monday...so is this announcement Monday a new one? Is there another a week from Monday?

Art Bell's professional life depends on making people feel uneasy. He's really good at it. Nothing about him is boring. The thing I worry about with this show is the inevitable potential force of greed. People really are not watching main stream news anymore. Art's show is taking off like jet. I belong to a few of his facebook fan groups and his old fans are under real attack from people trying to dump their ultra right wing political views, their crazy ass Alex Jones type conspiracy theories and burying the pages with prepper crap. Everyone is going to want a piece of this.
