Coast provide a for keeps download of each hour of the show with the music stripped out.

They also provide an on demand stream with the music left in. This week's SIT leading in to the first hour break played Neil Diamond's Crunchy Granola Suite for approximately 1 minute and 22 seconds. Coming back from break Ride My See Saw was played for well over 2 minutes.

Are you considering providing an on demand stream with the music still intact for the subscribers? I'd pay extra for that.

Alex Jones has bumper music in his free stream.  You can download the video of his broadcast, which includes bumper music, if you buy the "membership" for 5.95 per month.  I've always thought if that guy can do his show, there must be a way for Art to duplicate his model.  But have a much better show, naturally.

He doesn't, they even get rid of the intro music. And there's tons of proof on youtube:) Glenn Beck and other shows from his network have no music either. Their podcasts are free to listen.

It was $50 a year and you gained the ability to download all the audio segments of the day's show as well as shows spanning years back and they all included the bumper music used in the live broadcast.

The Darkness Radio Podcast with Dave Schrader has commercial music and they do play it longer than 30 seconds.  It is usually 3 songs per hour of podcast which is of course 37-45 minutes.
