I was referring to the interracial chemistry between such interracial relationship between the sexes, not necessarily to any age difference one way or the other.

However, in a situation where the Asian woman is much younger, the femme fatale effect can overwhelm. I've seen it many times with American men in that particular kind of situation.

I'd just give up if I were you, Oversoul.  Not that you have to take my advice, but . . .

You think it was  "interracial chemistry" that attracted John Lennon to Yoko?  Not her mind?  Her ideas?  Her art?  A meeting of souls, so to speak?  Sorry, but I'd put "interracial chemistry" low on the list of things that drew those two together.

But that is precisely what I mean:  The meeting of East and West in their minds, in ideas, in emotion, soul and art.  Surely you didn't think I was merely referring to a genetic or sexual exchange between them when I used the term "chemistry"?

I suppose I did, because the words "femme fatale," even though strictly applied to a younger Asian woman, seemed to indicate you were talking about a sexual attraction.  My apologies if I misunderstood your meaning.

Apology accepted.  I was referring to how such younger Asian women can make their men feel like lords and masters at home with megadoses of affection, TLC . . . and good food and cooking, how the men get pampered in many ways, how they can play their "domesticated woman at home" role to the hilt, etc.  I actually know men in those kinds of a situation who are just loving and enjoying it and feeling so gratified by it, to the point that you'd wonder if they had become "yes" men to their wives or even castrated.   ;D

You specifically referred to the effect "young" Asian women had on "older" Caucasian males and then gave the example of Yoko. It's a poor analogy, Yoko was 33 and John was 26 at the time they met. There's no femme fatale effect..if anything an it was closer to "Oedipal".

Nice vacation while it lasted! Time for the Bonfire People again! But what do I see? Discussions at length about Art's Wife (her name is Aeryn by the way), talked about in the most inpersonal fashion! She's been amazing for Art! And a great mother too! That's what I'm looking for, old fashioned values! Art will never come back to this type of discussion! Also I see talk like Art's dead or something? WHY? He's coming back to radio, I've told you the best information that I have! Did anyone make the Borscht Soup recipe that I gave? Just have a little faith, click your heels and ask to be back in Pahrump, Kansas again, with Desert Of The Sea Radio! Catchy title isn't it? Well it's already copywritten, and I have no deed to that property, so much for being a Late-Night Radio Monopoly Edition Champion! How has everybody been? I see Onan has come back, and my old friend Anagrammy too! We'll talk further later I suspect!

At this point, you might as well just cough up the money for a Russian mail order bride.  What's the difference, right?

Well Art, my Amateur Radio Friend, there you have it. You've been monitoring this along with me, and do you see the open hostility to Aeryn? This group is loaded with people who might have been part of that Philippino Letters Hate Champaign! You'd better turn this over to your Security Manager in Phoenix! By the way, people I am relocating overseas to Teach English Abroad. Purpose, to find a younger wife in the Philippines or Russia. What with Russia getting ready to put a man on Mars, and we do next to nothing, well the move might be permanent. You see one of the purposes for me being here was to test you on this issue, failures all around! But Art's Security can find out your locations, now can't he? Well hope all sleep well!

Is that your own PERSONAL point of view as well?   I hope not . . . for your sake.  8)

What're you trying to insinuate about Art's wife?    ???

i think you're a little hyper-sensitive on this whole racism thing.  get a grip.

MV/Liberace!

hey, douglas h. stingley.  why is it that you are posting your HAM call here but you refuse to appear on my podcast because you fear it might expose you too much and endanger your job as (gulp) a substitute teacher?  you obviously are not interested in maintaining your anonymity.

FortRock

Michael, this site has proven that is loaded with opponents of Art Bell's marraige to Aeryn. Arn't you the least concerned about that? Arn't you the least bit sensitized to the needs of men like Art and Myself? Arn't you the least concerned about appearing to endorse the actions of the writers of the "Philippino Hate Letters"? I, and Art are monitoring this communication. Be very concerned about site shutdown!

FortRock

It's because of my concerns for men like myself, and others that I give up my anonymity!

I hope he's not teaching English classes.

And yet again...all the nuts aren't in the nuthouse.

Stoli and Russian Standard are still top notch, IMO.

Also, Fort Rock won't have to look very far for that mail order bride.  All the web ads on this thread are now for those services.

If we are trying to tie this back to our buddy Fort Rock, Woody Allen might be a better example.  Or Gary Glitter.

I love how you imply that you and Art Bell are sitting in a room somewhere monitoring every post on this forum.

And how you mischaracterize one poster's over-reactive comments in an attempt to support your fragile cause.

I'm certainly in favor of turning the Howitzer upon Fort Rock. All roads lead back to his insanity.

Art's probably too polite to tell you it's spelled Airyn.

I fairly convinced this guy really is a school teacher.

especially where in reality it was known that Art Bell complained to Facebook about the guy creating numerous fake Art Bell facebook pages, and later that was discovered to be done by Fort Rock.
So Art in reality considers Fort Rock one of his worst enemies and definitely cannot speak for him...

...  Asians are more than 60% of the human population, and to somehow say there is some monolithic "Asian" culture in the world is preposterous and itself potentially racist. ...It's 2012; maybe it's time to grow up when we talk about people in other parts of the world, especially if they are in the majority of human beings.
Oh, come now.  If Asians are 60% of the population isn't it just easier to assume that they are all one big, homogeneous group and minimize my responsibility to learn anything about the distinct individual cultural traits, traditions and differences?  Repeat after me; "They are all the same."  See how easy that was, 60% down and only 40% to go.  What if I lump together all South Americans- or all those who speak Spanish as their first language? What are we down to now? ;)

FortRock

Well I'm headed out into the night, my mission served for Art! But one question for Real Cool, who's this Gary Glitter guy? I didn't know you were a fan of Professional Wrestling? Did this Glitter guy tag-team with Lou Theaz? Take care folks! OH! one last thing, the hostility in McPhallis is scary! Here's something that might work, perhaps a meditation class, OR you MAY have another problem, but Prune Juice will help that in a jiffy! One last thing, nobody said if they made the Borscht Soup Recipe I gave here. Did you enjoy it? Oh McPhallis, I live in Los Angeles and Art Bell lives in Pahrump! Did you know there's about 175 miles from him to me? I've only met Art once, and that was at a Portland Chat Club meeting in 1994. Anyrate enjoy your lives, I'M FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to Google Maps, it's actually about 261 miles.
