Just wait for poacher Dave to try n steal them!

If he tries to poach Brendan & Barbara the next EVP they'll record will be talking about pizza rolls.

I also hope LMH is still using her trusty tape recorder. I'll never forget a Dreamland she once did where she was in transit at an airport and still phoned in her weekly report for a phone booth playing relating her interviews by holding up that tape recorder to the phone. You could even hear the boarding announcements over the airport PA. That's dedication.
Yes. Analog better. And another reason I still like LMH. I hope she comes on MITD as a frequent guest for various updates. She works and, whatever credulity, still gets interesting and even legit people to interview. The question remains, however, with the lack of pay-phones will Mr.Fidget still be able to get in? His system seemed to be based on some type of phone phreaking? And we won't get those bystanders and folks who drove to a get in to verify public phone.

Jaz- Excellent trailers!

I still didn't burn my CHUNGA-lite sneakers.
Contemplating that.
Barbara is back.. that's amazing.
I think a box of rocks would have went over quite well compared to Chunga.
He's perfect for Snores.

Great news! I can't wait for the new show. When/where can we pay? And will there be a way to buy "gift" memberships?
Holy Dog doo doo.  That's a great idea!

RoseGirl

Art...I think you should interview Amy Allan from The Dead Files. As well as her detective guy Steve.

Great ghost show. She's the real deal and, in my opinion, should be on everyone's radar.

RoseGirl

Oh and by the way....if ever you need to interview an astrologer or a mystic, well...I'm your girl.

maybe you don't have to burn them, consider that Chunga is so uncool and lame that he had to have a wardrobe person dress him for his "photoshoot"...maybe those sneakers are nothing more than a prop. We might be able to salvage your shoes after all.

I hope CFRB Newstalk 1010AM in Toronto does sign on. They are a 50,000watt station, I could probably pick them up.  The do stream their broadcast online though, in order to carry "Midnight In the Desert", they would have to shut down their stream for the entire 2hours 58 minutes as per #3 of the following:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terrestrial Affiliates Inquire Here

Thanks for your interest in carrying Art Bell on your radio station. We will not be allowing Internet Only stations to carry our program as this would affect our music licensing and also influence our listener numbers reporting. If you are a real AM or FM terrestrial station, read on.

To be considered for becoming an affiliate of Midnight In The Desert, starring Art Bell, as broadcasted by the Dark Matter Digital Network, you must agree to the following terms.

1. You must carry the entire 3 hour show. From the top through 2 hours and 58 minutes. Keep in mind we are up to 30-seconds delayed from real-time, our servers have built-in buffers and we also add an additional 7-second delay for editing purposes.

2. No replay or archiving of our shows is allowed. We need to protect our membership subscription model.

3. You must have your own blanket licensing for commercial music in your country. We cannot allow relay streaming of our show, as that will incur additional music licensing cost. You won’t be covered by our license. If you’re streaming to the Internet you must turn it off during our broadcast.

4. You are allowed (but not required) to cover our feed with two 2-minute breaks each at the :58 and 1:58 breaks (end of the first and second hours). So it’s 4 minutes of your local ads over ours. Of course at 2:58 mark the show is over. Again adjust for streaming server buffer delays. There will be adequate bumper music into and out of the break for you to adjust your automation timings.

5. Otherwise you must carry all our other breaks, which will be floating anyway. So for automation purposes, you can insert your ads at those two fixed times/hard breaks. Your commercials should be appropriate for our programming.

6. We will try to enforce market exclusivity on a first come, first served basis. We would of course favor larger stations.

7. You must receive our program feed from our hi-quality AAC streaming server (not MP3).  You should use a dedicated computer (with nothing else running including background tasks like Windows update) using an appropriate player that receives AAC or a hardware device like the CC-Wifi radio, hardwired into your network. Do not use Wifi (but you knew that).

When applying for affiliate status, please acknowledge that you agree to these terms, include your geographical market area, your operating frequency and call letters of course and send this to affiliates@artbell.com .

Once reviewed, we’ll give you approval status. We may revoke your affiliate status at any time, should you fail to meet these requirements. You’ll be listed on an affiliates page at ArtBell.com with your city and state.

Thank you for your inquiry.

I'll have to get some locals to send some e-mails to CFRB.

We "Tasty Canadians" have to get in on this gig.

Best wishes to you and your team Art!

Has Chunga ever posted on BG?

I'm slow on the uptake here, but I've just joined the club with the rest of you Stanton Friedmans. Could do worse, I s'pose.  ???

Or like a cat in a box that may or not my not be dead because you happened to look at it.
Barbara will be back this time with a wire recorder because she doesn't trust newfangled things.
It's spelled "Mc Beyath like Deyth".
Good deal, no bad chimmie chungas with fake EVPs.

I've sent about 20 emails out to Canadian stations and heard back, so far, from 640am in Toronto. I would really love to get Art on the Ceeb.....so all you fearless Canucks out there, send an email to CBC Radio One and ask them to carry Art in their late night format. He'd be perfect for it.
