This is the limb of the family tree Georgie doesn`t talk about in his ancestry.com commercials.

The boring one?

must be. no one would intentionally hold the snooron for more than the time it takes for him to say something.

Izintit?

It's weird when the guest, like last nite says they were on a perfectly good landline and don't know what happened, the line just dropped.  Then they reconnect and George admonishes them that they had a technical problem and they better speak up louder and hope their phone line probems are sorted out.  Then the the line problems continue and George has to throw in the towel on the interview.  If I didn't have complete 100% belief in George's integrity I might think some of that is staged.
With the hundreds of books that have been written about the Beatles I think that by that point in the interview they were inundated with calls saying this guy was a fraud so George had to axe him.How did George miss this with all his show prep?

You all listen to these shows live.  I listen to the previous night's show the next night, because I wake up at 4:30 AM, so bedtime is kinda very early, so I listen to the previous night.  Thanks guys for fair warnings!

Listening to religious nutcases always gives me a turn.  In my stomach.

Praemonitus praemunitus. I also often listen to replays and this forum is great and giving recaps and warnings. Though, sometimes the awful ridiculous and chaotic shows are the best as George flounders and mispronounces everything, outright batsh*t crazy callers call in, and guests are so 'out there' that it is comical.

yumyumtree

I'm on the horns of the dilemma. On the one hand Dr. Gary Ridenour is one of my all-time favorite C to C guests. On the other hand I want to get up early to work in the p-patch tomorrow.

The one who kills by misinformation (just take 5 grams of turmeric daily until the brain hemorrhages stop.)  Sounds like a good way to kill Americans.

Good old "Taliban George" just doing the will of Allah.

Dateline

Screw it up some more Noory.  No one wants to see a video of Coast before the show.  This is radio, keep it that way.

I did not buy your televisions show, I won't. I don't want to see Coast diluted even more.

yumyumtree

The more I hear this guest the less I like him. Ridenour should have gone on first.

UFQuack

Did you hear him say... "your little hook ups"

Is Jorch talking down to Coast subscribers?--which is like the one last person still subscribing.

I don't like this guest.  First of all, this man dissing the fair tax and then saying that the right is being more divisive than the left.  No, the left is just as divisive, you sob.  What a complete liberal hack.

This guy belongs on MSNBC, not C2C.  But if you're gonna have him on, then why not have some fun with it and have a real political debate?  Instead of George's typical non-committal mush like "Well where do you see all this going in the next five years?" or "How's any of this ever going to change?".

Or how about when the guy smacked George for wanting a consumption tax as being regressive and evil, countering with some of the pros of it, like that we could dump the IRS and all the income tax accountants, and that it would broaden the base, etc.  I don't know whether I'd be for it or not, but I'd at least like some intelligent discussion as long as the topic's come up.  But I'd really rather just get back to friggin' Bigfoot.

You and me both.  Or talk about ghosts, ufo's and the paranormal.  When I read that the first guest had a Pulitzer Prize, my radar went up.  If he's accepted by the mainstream media, there can't be anything good about that.  He's a detached elitist Establishment type of the sort that unfortunately plague our universities these days.  Completely bought into the system.

And now a guest talking about the VA.  Coast is getting to be too much like the rest of talk radio. I didn't start listening to coast to listen to shows about current affairs.

yumyumtree

George said "eboli", must have it confused with E. coli.

yumyumtree

Gary Ridenour related an Art Bell story. He was an Art guest, evidently.

I think George said that Art is still in Pahrump NV. Or did I hear wrong? Or has Art come back to the US from the Phillipines?

Izintit?

WARNING: TONIGHTS SHOW WILL BE VOMIT INDUCING....LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Art's been back in Pahrump for several years.

Oh come on.  George has never had a Birthday Party before.

From his website:

"George's Birthday Party
Wed 06-04
It's George Noory's birthday and we're partying in grand style with special guests throughout the evening, and listener calls and stories celebrating another complete orbit around the sun for George, and well into his 12th year hosting Coast to Coast AM full time."

Sounds like see-krut doors, round tables.  Tommy, Goatsy, Richard See, Joshua Pee, and Dick T.  Retellings of George's favorite stories about kids and animals in distress.  Perhaps a screening of Old Yellow.  Hoo no's.

wr250

It's georges party, and we'll cry if we want to
Cry if we want to, cry if we want to
You would cry too if noory happened to you

Nobody knows where my Tommy has gone
lisa left the same time
Why was he holding her hand
When he's supposed to be georges?

Jackstar

I could not give a shit about listening to George Noory ever again, unless something monumental happens. That's my birthday present to him.

I wrapped it in scorn.

With all the right wing guests, you guys are complaining?  What about balance, having an occasional left wing guest?  Geeze.  And sorry, I know someone who earned a Pultizer, and your characterization of it is totally uncalled for.  Elitist?  Oh p-lease.

i believe both kaku and shostak are both left wing.

Both wings are tools of the criminal oligarchs that oppress your lives.

Kaku?  Seriously?  He's a physicist for crying out loud, what the heck does that have to do with politics?  You righty's are always grasping at straws and getting bent about the smallest things.

also a proponent of the one world govt to paraphrase "in order to advance to a stage 1 civilization, we must have a one world govt"  he has a distinct marxist bent, revolving around science.

i never said his politics are strong, only left wing. as i have said in the past "he is a brilliant physicist, he should stick to that" .

/*edit*/
i am guessing  that you think george should have on some democrat to whine about something, like he does with the right wing whiner about the VA.
personally i think george should retire to his Hawaiian abode and someone with a brain who will bring coast back to its roots take over. but i dont see that happening any time soon.

Energy. Your name is laser, for crying out loud!

All political power is expressed at the point of a gun. Artillery means nothing without the ballistic equations to arm and aim it: that's physics.
